How do you figure out in words what their music is and express it to receptive ears in a way that doesn't demystify it or seeming grandiloquent? But we enjoy exploring new, different worlds, like the one Rush Week offers. The duo from Philadelphia was formed in 2016 by Rachel K. Haines and the producer James Benjamin Thomas, who update the NU Disco, Soul and R&B sounds from the end of the seventies and beginning of the eighties. Their first album, Feels, sounds like the elegance and melancholy of Roxy Music and Talk Talk, modernized with St. Vicent, Étienne de Crécy and Justice, with an irresistible pop filter that brings it closer to Tennis' more recent songs, and that also feeds the dance floor. As we said, it is tremendously difficult to describe Rush Week's music, considering that in the different songs the references jump from one decade to the next, dancing between styles and bringing us closer to the future of pop. Work on the album began in January 2017, following Cabello's departure from Fifth Harmony. Primarily a pop record, the album incorporates elements of Latin music and R&B. Camila was executive-produced by Frank Dukes, with additional work from Skrillex and the Futuristics, among others. Camila has been met with positive reviews from contemporary music critics, most of whom commended the Latin influences and ballads featured. Includes digital download. Presto is the thirteenth studio album by Rush, released in 1989. It was recorded at Le Studio in Morin Heights and at McClear Place in Toronto. Presto was Rush's first album with their new international tag Atlantic Records, which the band signed to in early 1989 after deciding not to renew it's contract with Mercury/PolyGram Records. The band had intended to co-produce the album with Peter Collins, who had produced the previous two studio albums, Power Windows and Hold Your Fire; however, he reluctantly declined the offer for personal reasons.
