This is an attractive cooktop with five burners. The stainless steel trim complements my stainless steel appliances. You will want to read the instructions for use and care, as there are specific limitations relative to type of pan, size of pan, and the cleaning process. As with any new cooktop, it takes time to perfect technique. The cream cleaner recommended is necessary for heavier residue, but its successful use is tedious. I recommend Weiman Cooktop Daily Cleaner for less intense cleaning.

Really like it for the most part. It gets pans hot as designed. My only complaint is the clustering of the controls makes it hard to clean without taking them all off. Also I don’t want to use the WiFi but frequently enable it while cleaning.

Have had it for a little over 6 months and so far so good. The scratch resistance of it is very solid. Not one scuff. The heating of it is also super powerful, cooking is quick and easy.

Purchased this to replace an Electrolux Hybrid Cooktop that crapped out on me. The burners heat up quick and is very easy to operate. I however thought that with the WiFi Smart Connect that I would be able to control some features on the cooktop. It seems you can only view on your phone or tablet, not change the timer or adjust the temperature. Still looking into the app to see if its operator error. Overall good product for the money.

I love this cooktop, If you like technology, this is the best cooktop… it connects to Wi-Fi and you have control of your cooktop from the smart things app. It’s quick on heating food and boiling. Water controls are easy to use.

Wish it had the blue lights around the hot burners to indicate when it is safe to touch the burner and NOT get burned. It would be better if the timer had an audible chime to let you know when the timer is finished

Samsung Ceramic Glass Cooktop replaced a 35 yr old JennAir coil unit. The new cooktop is beautiful and pretty easy to clean with cooktop polish. I really like the digital controls but they don't always respond on first touch. However the magnet dial is not very useful (as others have said the temp setting jumps around strangely when using the magnetic knob). I don't understand why each burner goes from 1 to 15. So if you want the burner at 60% power, you have to do some mental math to know that's level 9. Using a 1-10 or 1-20 scale would be much easier. The flat glass cooktop is slow to heat up. I know this is likely true with all glass cooktops, but it takes some getting used to vs. the older coil burners. So I have tended to turn up the temp too high while waiting, and then end up burning the food easily. You have to adjust and be patient for the surface to heat the pan. I am still adjusting after 1.5 months. It will come. The timer is so quiet, you can barely hear it when standing right at the cooktop. So it's pretty much useless, but that's a minor flaw. The digital controls work well, but not always on the first touch. It takes some getting used to as well, and a setting scale of 1-15 is just plain odd. The wifi feature is truly useless on this cooktop. You can set the timer and view if each burner is on or off, but that's it there is no way to control the cooktop burners. Even if you are really concerned you left on the cooktop burner, and you've left the house, you can't do anything about it remotely. I see no purpose in the wifi feature, and seems to have been included as a gimic to make it seem more modern and cool. Truely useless.

1. Poor fit: just barely fit the opening we had, even though the sizes matched on paper. Too deep, we had to cut the drawer. 2. Was supposed to be fingerprint-free, but it's a finger magnet. Every streak shows up easy. 3. Wifi/smart features are finicky. It disconnects all the time 4. Less than a year later, it failed. The center would not turn off. Just as my tech support expired, very convenient. Will now be hustling with Samsung, I already expect a pleasant few weeks.

Cooktop fit perfectly into our previous opening and is a pleasure to use. It heats up very quickly and has numerous burner size and temperature settings.
