When a Good TV Is a Little Too "Smart"

This QN70H was an emergency replacement for a dying 6-year-old similar but earlier Samsung screen. It's about 1.5" thinner, which presented some replacement VESA mounting challenges, but it has a beautiful picture (after finding Filmmaker Mode to defeat all the hi-res embellishment and artifacts) and fast, intuitive electronics. The one annoying aspect of this model, though, so far, is its tendency to interrupt viewing to ask "Agree" or "Disagree" with something called Vision AI, which I thought I had turned off during setup. When we get that little gremlin conquered, we'll be able to watch, hopefully, in peace.

grate picture ,my ,,10 year old samsung remote has buttons on it and works better than the remote that came with the tv, NO OWERNERS manual

To help you get the most from your TV and remote functions, you can download the full e-Manual and more by visiting Samsung’s website then navigating to: Support > Manual & Software > TVs & Home Theater. From there, you can search for and select your Samsung QN70H TV model to view or download the available guides.
The e-Manual & Remote Control Guide are also conveniently built into your TV: Settings > Support > Tips and User Guides
Learn TV Remote is another feature designed to help users become familiar with the layout and function of each button on the Samsung remote. When enabled, pressing any button (except the Power button, which will still turn off the TV) will prompt the TV to announce the button’s name and its purpose – without affecting TV operation.
This teaching mode is especially useful for users who are visually impaired or new to Samsung remotes. To enable this feature, go to: Settings > All Settings > General & Privacy > Accessibility > Learn TV Remote. To exit, simply press the Return key twice.

Solid TV - Good Price

We’ve only owned Samsung TVs and this model didn’t disappoint. Picture is clear and sharp. Only quibble is navigating the Home Screen - it isn’t as intuitive as previous models especially when downloading Apps. Otherwise highly recommend especially when on sale.
