Q: Can you use the oven as a gas oven or is it only a convection oven?

Q: Hi, I have a follow-up question to the double vs. single oven question. I understand it has one oven cavity with a divider. Does this mean you can only bake on one temperature setting at once, or is there a way to manipulate the temperature for both?

A: yes...the orifices or "jets" are included in the installation package. Very simple to swap out.

A: This oven has 1 oven cavity however it has a divider and has separate convection fans for each half. The upper section door opens without opening the bottom if you are only using 1/2.

Q: Are the top stove grates dishwasher safe? if so, how well do they hold up with cleaning in a dishwasher?

A: I just read the Samsung site for cleaning the stove, including the top. No, it is not recommended that anything cast iron be cleaned in the dishwasher.

Q: Can the divider be moved to different positions, or can it only be used in the center location? Seems like a really good idea as with a double oven you are limited by the size of the cavities.

A: The divider must be in the center position as there is a switch that it activates to change from single to dual mode.

Q: Is that a shallow drawer I see on the bottom?

A: Yes, it is good for lids or cookie sheets.
