As a tech enthusiast with high-end custom computers, an ROG G16 Gaming laptop, and home servers, I was initially skeptical about Chromebooks. My interest was piqued when I sought a device that wouldn't consume excessive electricity like my power-hungry rigs. I'd also heard Chromebooks followed Apple's "it just works" philosophy, prompting me to research thoroughly before settling on the Samsung Galaxy Chromebook Plus. I'm genuinely impressed with this product. First, the ecosystem integration is exceptional. As someone who already uses a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, Galaxy Bud Pro 3s, and Galaxy Watch 5, I've experienced seamless connectivity across devices. This integration has been a game changer, making cross-device tasks effortless. Samsung delivers more features for power users, like DeX, without forcing you into an expensive ecosystem. Second, the battery life and weight are spectacular. I consistently get 6-8 hours of use at 3/4ths brightness with keyboard backlighting when needed. The lightweight design eliminates the fatigue I've experienced with heavier laptops during travel, making this device truly portable. Third, the display is absolutely incredible. Despite having premium monitors on my gaming rig, this screen matches their quality in a remarkably lightweight package. The pure blacks and vibrant colors create a stunning visual experience that makes entertainment on the road a delight. Samsung's displays are known for being bright and crisp with rich color accuracy that elevates streaming above competing brands. Fourth, the performance has exceeded expectations. While North American models come with the Intel 3 processor (at the time of this review), it handles everything I throw at it with ease. After nearly a month of use, it's tackled every task smoothly, including games from the Play Store. The tactile, clicky keyboard is another highlight—though those preferring quieter keyboards might find it too loud. In conclusion, I love my Samsung Galaxy Chromebook Plus. It perfectly fits my use case as a tech enthusiast wanting an efficient secondary device. If you're seeking a lightweight laptop with exceptional battery life, a brilliant display, and solid performance—especially if you're already in the Samsung ecosystem—this might be your ideal match. I've gone from Chromebook doubter to convinced believer, and couldn't be happier with my purchase.

I love this super light weight but very large screen. It's the best of both worlds. I use this for business everyday and the speed excellent even with many (usually at least 10 or 15) tabs open. The OLED screen is beautiful and as I mentioned, being very large is easy on my eyes. The keyboard has a great feel too, although the layout does take a little getting used to. Still can't say enough how great this one is, and I have had many higher end Chromebooks over the years, including Samsung (2 of the Galaxy premium versions) as well as the Google Pixel Go, and I still prefer this over them.

Pros. Nice slim featherweight powerfull machine with perfect screen. Great for the basic use like internet, emails, YouTube. Built quality, ChromeOS implementation and inputs are top notch. Cons. Easy overheating, screen ratio does not justify the size for the basic use (if you do not needs to have more then one window at a time). Battery lasts less then acceptable. For the purpose of chromebooks this model is a step down from the original Samsung Chromebook Plus.

Love this chromebook. The backlit keyboard helps a bunch when working in low lighting situations and the weight of the laptop is nice as well. Very sturdy so far and that’s exactly what I was looking for!

The huge 16:9 display will wow you, because of the size it is very immersive, the deep blacks and color accurate display, skin colors look real, no yellow/green hues bias, colors are very pleasing to look at. What is horrible, is the low resolution, you can easily spot individual pixels, text with jagged edges, it is like looking a DOS machine from 1990. Text and Movies appear soft, so the experience takes a hit. Although it is very thin and light weight, 15 inch labtops have a big footprint, so it is not as portable. It is a beautiful machine, I love the deep blue on the lid, and the black keyboard, perfect combination. The keyboard feel is okay, but not the best, the Galaxy Book 4 Edge has a much better feel on the keys. Also, because they tried to cramp and number key, it shifted the keyboard off center, and there are just too many keys everywhere, confusing, you have keep taking your eyes away from the display to identify where is the key looking for. The backlit of the keys is perfect, not intrusive and it always light up when you need it. The battery is good and it charges fast. The hinge is not very strong, the display panel is big and wide and it wobbles when you type. The display panel is semi-glossy, like a satin, something in between, it helps with reflections, but it also takes away some color punch vividness. The track pad is okay, no glass, no haptic feedback, it is accurate with the cursor, but it has some palm rejection issues, when typing your palm can sent the cursor to a different location causing typing errors, something I have not experience with the Book 4 Edge. All in all is an okay machine if you can get pass the low resolution display, but at $700, there are other much better options, for example the ACER Spin 714 Chromebook that screams premium quality in every aspect. Conclusion, this will make a good media consumption machine to watch videos and movies, but not a work machine where you will be starring at soft jagged text all day long.

There are very few reviews on this site, so I thought I better write one. I read a very positive review on a blog I follow and decided to pull the trigger on this one. I'm moving from an Acer i5 Intel processor to this one with an i3, but the speed of the i3 is more than adequate. The screen on this one is excellent. I thought I would miss the touch screen of my old one, but I don't. I like it bright so was waiting to see how the battery life would work out. It's good enough. Maybe 6 - 7 hours with the screen very bright. If I need to get more hours, I can just scale the brightness back. It charges very fast so I choose to keep it bright and beautiful. The keyboard feels great, and I find myself using the number pad a lot. I don't think it's intended for data entry, just keying a bunch of numbers when needed. Nice feature. Track pad is good although once in a while I tap in a spot and it doesn't respond. I just quickly tap again in another spot and it works. I bought this thinking I could return it if I didn't like it (Best Buy's return policy is great), but it's an excellent machine and it's not going back. Hope this helps some of you guys that might be thinking about buying this one.

Very pleased with the Samsung Chromebook Plus! I'm not a big tech person but this has everything I need for casual use. I really like that it's slim, lightweight and the battery last quite a long time. It's quick and the display is vibrant! I'm exploring other features, learning as I go. Definitely recommend!

I'm really impressed with this Chromebook. I was sold by how thin and light it is. It is so portable and light - makes all other laptops really really bulky and old fashioned. I was worried about it being only a Core i3 processor but it has all the performance I need. The oled display is beatiful for watching shows. And it came with 1 year free of Gemini Advanced which is a huge value!

Very fast, beautiful oled screen. Love the 2 USB C thunderbolt. I am able to plug in my 39" monitor and the use that as my 2nd screen. The laptop is also very light and feel premium. Chromebook just make it so convience, fast and malware free. Love it and will buy again.

I love this laptop, it is well built with metal and very nice touches around the device, including the glass trackpad. It feels lighter than it is and the screen is bright and beautiful. It strikes a great balance in the Chromebook Plus lineup. it is big and beautiful without being too expensive. Performance is more than adequate and battery life is good. A strong recommend from me.

This Chromebook is the most user friendly laptop I have owned. It is used mainly for personal computing and web browsing. The backlit keyboard was a must for me and this keyboard is great. The most important thing is its light weight. Battery life and charging time are excellent. I went to Best Buy to purchase another brand of Chromebook and this Samsung Chromebook Plus blew me away.

So glad I made the switch from Windows to Chromebook. Wish I would have done it years ago. The Samsung Galaxy Chromebook Plus is amazingly thin and light, has an amazing display, is straightforward for everyday use, and the build quality seems solid. A super bonus is the battery lasts 10+ hours consistently.

I have to say that I am highly impressed. The Intel Core i3 is fast. The keyboard and trackpad are both excellent, and the screen is top-notch. 400 nits of brightness is spot on! I usually buy 14-inch Chromebooks. This is my first 15.6-inch. Because it is so thin, light, and has tiny bezels, it feels almost like a 14-inch Chromebook. The speakers, while downward-firing, are very good. If it had a fingerprint reader, it would have been perfection. Having said that, so far I am very pleased. The Neptune Blue color makes this device look very nice and high-end. The AMOLED display puts this Chromebook head and shoulders above the rest; it even surpasses most Windows laptops, in my humble opinion.

This new Galaxy Chromebook Plus is a satisfying upgrade from my Samsung red Galaxy Chromebook 2. It has all of the Samsung quality you'd expect. My favorite feature is the super comfortable keyboard and trackpad along with the large screen. Works perfect when I plug into my LG widescreen monitor via ithe included HDMI port. The metallic blue exterior color is very on trend and suits me better than red. I'm so far only scratching the surface of the baked in AI features.

I did read some reviews that gave me pause about buying this computer. Some mentioned the 1080p screen making text look a little fuzzy — and yes, if you do a lot of writing like I do, you’ll notice it’s not as sharp as 4K. But in everyday use, that hasn’t been a problem. The AMOLED display makes up for it with deep colors, rich blacks, and a white that looks truly white, not slightly gray. The hardware feels solid, and the overall design — including the color — is attractive. The numerical keypad does shift your typing position a little to the left, but I adjusted in about 15 minutes. And honestly, the keypad has its advantages. Performance-wise, I haven’t hit a limit with open tabs, which is a big plus. This machine has been a great upgrade from my Google Pixelbook Go. That was a great computer too, but its processor was starting to show its age. If you see this on display at Best Buy, take a look — you’ll notice right away how vibrant the colors and video look. The AMOLED screen really makes a difference. For future versions, I’d love to see Samsung add a touchscreen and bump the resolution just a bit. But even without those, I’m very happy with this purchase.

So far, so good. First time using a Chromebook and it's a bit of a learning curve but fast, lightweight and great battery life.
