I bought this phone for my Mother (was her birthday) she love it. She lives in Brazil, so we use the whatsApp application on the phone to see and talk to with each other,.

So every time i am using it for more than 15min it starts over hearing, when im on a call, when charging, when using gps, when on a video call or playing games its extremely hot so i have to stop using it and let it cool down. Another thing, the screen cracked like the 4th day i got it, i didn't have a case on it but just by being in my purse it cracked, then called Best Buy and they said it was considered accidental damange so i have to get it fixed myself. Like its been 2 weeks i have it and it is just disappointing.

Poor camera. The camera failed in three years. The phone gets heated dramatically. Wasted $600+ on this product.

Hands down the best phone I have used to date. Excellent Cameras, FAST, superb battery life, amazing display. . . But. . . If you are looking for a device that will be regularly updated, the US Unlocked edition is FAR behind the curve. Samsung had a real shot at entering the US Unlocked market and put the carriers in their place with the fastest updates and upgrades in Firmware, but instead has taken to a quarterly update schedule while EVERY other version of the S7's will be on a Monthly schedule. If you are looking to use the this version for a BYOD for work, be sure to check with your IT administrator and verify that the quarterly patch schedule is acceptable. I know many require a device that receives regular monthly patches. At which time you should seriously consider the Phones by Google, the Pixel and Pixel XL. Also, expect it to be the last S7 of the entire S7 series to receive Nougat 7.0. Carrier Branded editions are already receiving the latest Android (at the time of writing this) with very few global variants left who have yet to receive the Update, considering the next Patch won't likely hit the S7 SM-G930U until mid to late March, I call this "FAR behind the curve". Bottom line, if you are looking for a significantly faster and less bloatware loaded device, and the security patch level update pace isn't a priority for you, then you will be absolutely thrilled with how the lack of carrier-ware helps with battery life and performance. BUT If you are looking for the latest updates on a monthly and regular basis, you will be best served with a Carrier Branded device. p.s. I'm giving 5 stars based on the phone's performance. If it was to be determined by Samsung's Customer Svc, it would be 1 star. ...posted from my SM-G930U on AT&T's Network (Go-Phone).

It probably sounds like a b.s.review or fake but it's not...I LOVE this phone! Great size, amazing camera and outstanding battery life combined with a great open box price makes this a super deal! My wife loved it so much we bought her one too!

I can't believe how fast this phone is with apps and internet, I use very heavy and large applications and it still manages to run smooth. Sometimes I feel it overheats a little bit but it will go away pretty soon and if I stop using it for a couple of minutes it will cool faster. Crisp sound when calling. The front and rear cameras are amazing! Worth every single penny! Also, it looks sleek and feels great in my hands, excellent quality materials. But I feel if you drop it, it will crack very easy.

First of all, I must commend on Best Buy's timely shipment. Although, I missed the sale period which sold $100 less but still, since I'm so happy with S7, I decided to buy this for my family. I am very happy with the waterproof feature. I had mine dropped in a bucket of water and it stayed there for 2 hours, when I finally found it and took it out, the touch screen responded as if nothing happened. Amazing!!! I do have concerns about battery and specifically space issue. Last but not least, I do recommend additional coverage because S7 esp. S7 Edge can be broken easily.

Much better size and fit from the Galaxy S5. Camera takes clear, sharp pictures for someone with destabilization problems. Price-wise, a good buy.

I bought the phone unlocked because it was on sale and less expensive than buying through AT&T! The camera takes phenomenal night photos. The 32 gig internal storage is more than adequate for the APPS I have downloaded. The external SD card can handle hours of video. Now, the next time I travel abroad I'll have a working mobile device local to the country, no roaming rates and a camera all in one.

Camera is very sharp, 12 mp, but with additional technology. This makes it as good as the S5 with a 16 mp camera. Good screen resolution, nice size and slim phone. It has all the bells and whistles. I recommend this phone and was thoroughly pleased with the service @ Best Buy in the purchase and setting up the phone.

This is everything I could expect and more: great speed, highly customizable, awesome rear-facing camera, and just an allover great phone. The battery life is great if you're just calling and texting, but if you're streaming a large amount of content, you will need to charge it by the end of the day. The only real downside for me is the front-facing camera, which is good, but not great. I bought the unlocked version because I knew I'd be moving soon and might be changing networks. Sometimes unlocked phones don't work with Verizon's network, but I can confirm that this model does. I am so happy I bought this phone.

If you don't need the absolute newest phone, this will work for you. It has plenty of storage, a great camera, is easy to navigate and feels good in the hand. Even though the Samsung Galaxy 8 is out now and looks like a great phone, the Galaxy 7 is still a workhorse.

For the price range, this phone is pretty top notch. Great camera with the ability to specify certain light elements as ISO, White Balance, and Aperture within Pro mode. The battery lasts a long time, especially if running on power save mode, but if you're running a bit low the quick charger that comes standard works fine. The best part about the phone is the customizable options available. Compared to the Iphone's price and specs, I'd much rather go for the Galaxy S7.

Who says that you always have to buy the latest and greatest? Got this phone in August during a sale and I could not be happier. Incredible screen, snappy performance, great camera, a bunch of features. This phone was a steal for under $500.

Well it's not a Galaxy S8 but coming from Galaxy S7 this one is a major upgrade. Superfast, GREAT camera, love the higher resolution of the screen and great battery life. Bought as open box and good a good deal, really like this one !!!

With a Best Buy special extra $100 off, the S7 price was about $300 less than the S8. This phone does basically everything you'd need. The camera quality is extremely good. Long lasting battery. Everything is intuitive. Great phone. Why spend a huge premium for the latest phone, when it will be obsolete in a year too? I'm taking the used car approach for all future phone purchases...buy the one-year-earlier version and save a third...the difference here is that it's still a new, unused product!
