When I received this item in the mail; it came in its original box/packaging and instructions. After close inspection it looks brand new and unused. Shortly after installing the ssd i had to download the Samsung Magician software to ensure that all drivers are installed to my laptop. The Samsung evo plus 1tb works great, fast and is reliable. Installed this ssd 3 months ago and there is no sign of degrading or issues with this ssd. I would recommend buying refurbished again especially with Samsung ssds.

I was wary about buying a refurbished nvme ssd but didn't hesitate because I could buy a geek squad warranty with it so if anything went bad I could replace it or use the amount I paid for it and buy brand new, I love best buys geek squad warranty. I posted pictures of my built gaming pc comparing my first initial install 980 pro nvme to the refurbished 970 pro nvme of power on count/hours. So basically the refurbished 970 pro was brand new, I didn't keep track when I bought it to expand my hard drive memory as my 980 pro got full. Just for curiosity I downloaded Crystaldiskinfo to take a look at the refurbished 970 pro before I wrote this review and was amazed, I installed the 970 pro same day I bought it

after getting several bum drives in a row from a different online store, I decided to go with this drive from BB and wow. Barely used, clean packaging, amazing price.

Was thinking betwen new and sertified refurbished from BB. Came in a good condition. Only has around 650gb writes and 100% of life. Prrfect fit to my Lenovo T480

This was a Best Buy recommendation I got in an email. I got two of these at almost half price. The Discount was due to them being open box. When I ran disk utility they were both almost brand new. Got one as my boot drive, the other in a small enclosure for pocket sized data with the quickness.

Good value refurbished but would not buy for retail.

The box is a little worn but the SSD works great and I haven't have a issue with it yet, hopefully it'll stay that way.

Works great and has a lot of life left in it. Great price on a 1 tv m.2 nvme. Shipped quickly also.

First of all gross it came with that nasty stuff out of box but still had to try it out And guess what it did not work w either my pc nor ps5

Crashed after a year. Today I was unable to install or delete games. CrystalDiskInfo say's Health is bad 100%

The Samsung 970 EVO Plus SSD is a High Speed SSD and is a great upgrade for some laptops in terms of storage and in terms of speed. The SSD is an M.2 type, meaning that it can't be used on most SSDs which means that this SSD is suitable for more recent laptops.

It says 1 TB on the box, but it's only 465GB, and the logical sector size is only 512GB. It's so weird.

Awesome little NVMe drive. BLAZING fast, 6x faster than my 860 Evo SSD which is already pretty fast. 1TB storage is nice, I migrated my OS (cloned the SSD) over really easily with AOMEI Partition Assistant, and now Windows boots in about 10 seconds from start. It's incredible. Games have almost no loading time. Forza no longer has loading times. I don't know what to do with all of this spare time anymore.

I wanted an Internal SSD with a lot more storage with faster read and write speeds and of course at a great price. This does the job for me. It's Geek Certified Refurbished AND I registered it with Samsung, so it's under warranty. I did a few checks on how "NEW" it is and yeah this is basically a new Internal SSD. I'm guessing maybe someone opened the box, resized it was wrong one and returned it? Dunno, I would normally pass on buying used Storage and Memory but this was such a lie price that it was a no brainer knowing that I can return for refund if it didn't work out. Easy Peasy install after cloning & partitioning using an external adapter with software. Didn't use Samsung software due to many mixed reviews. I definitely recommend this Internal SSD.

I was looking to replace an SSD that died and was always happy with Samsung. It was an older laptop which did not support Gen4, so I was looking to save some money - being refurbished saved me some more. This one performs well, no different than the 3-4 other 970 EVO Plus drives that I have. Very happy with the purchase.

Bought this for my daughter's computer to expand her storage for downloaded games. She hasn't complained, and it's been a while that she's had it, so I'm assuming it's working well. I did benchmark it when I installed it and it works at Gen3 speeds just fine, so I'd say it does what it says it will do.
