This is a great drive to have when you take the drive with you to a location where you want extra storage. like a business meeting. Never know what photos/files you need to get when you are at the meeting.

It's IP65 durable and compact and more reliable than an HDD. Live it with my Monument2 photo storage.

This is a MUST HAVE. It is a massive amount of space in a tiny device, feels smooth, portable, encryptable with a password (in part or in whole), and FAST. It BLASTS through data transfers in record speed, i almost couldn’t believe it! Round of applause!!!

The SSD works perfectly. For $200, a 4TB external SSD is an absolute steal. I did encounter a small issue at first, but I quickly figured it out using Samsung Magician, the SSD management software. Unlike a brand-new drive, this one didn’t show up immediately as a storage drive in "My PC" when I connected it. However, Samsung Magician recognized it as a genuine Samsung SSD, showing details like capacity, usage status, and temperature. After some quick Googling, I discovered that I just needed to create a new volume through the Control Panel. I’m not an expert, but if you encounter the same issue, don’t panic. just google it. Functionally, there’s nothing wrong with it; it just needed a bit of setup because it’s refurbished. For reference, the drive showed 3.6TB written when I first received it. It seems more like it was formatted once rather than having actual usage. So the lifespan might be not very different from the brand new one.

Dropped this into my workstation and the boot time improvement was immediately obvious. Large file transfers that used to be a “go get coffee” situation are just done before I look back. 4TB is the sweet spot where I finally stopped agonizing over what to delete. Wish I’d upgraded sooner.

I’m not very computer literate but this was easy enough to format get going. It greatly improved my storage capacity and gave me more free space on my internal hard drive which improved my systems performance. Was actually considering getting another. Can never have too much free space.

Small, fast and tough. Great value. I’ve had several external drives that have given up over time SSD is the way to go.

This SSD is the bomb.com okay, it dont take long for my files to transfer to it and I transfer loads of plug ins and software for music. I will recommend.

I got it like new, and it came with the original box. After checking the SSD health, everything look great, only 2TB written which is perfectly fine for me.

This might just be about the fastest shared access drive that I have experienced when connected directly into our home router. My only possible change would be that I would like to have larger than the 4TB option. Excellent drive regardless though.

LOVE THESE. I have several of these. First one I bought for GoPro vids and needed something I could trust to not break if I dropped it.

So far working like new. I had to recognize the drive in disk management, but otherwise no problems.

What i expect from an external. Booted up perfectly and performs well.
