I have purchased a few of the SanDisk Extreme Pro 128GB USB 3.1 Flash Drives now, and have been VERY happy with them! Fast speed makes large data transfers happen quickly. High quality case seems to be very durable. I have been a fan of SanDisk USB Flash Drives for years now, and wouldn't even consider anything else! A bit pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for with these drives!

Pros: SSD Performance in a thumb/flash/USB drive, awesome design, USB 3.1, excellent build quality Cons: none Other Thoughts: the Thumb Drive does get very warm under mid/heavy use but it's normal for this kind of USB Drive so don't worry about it ATTO V3.05 Benchmark scores USB 3.0: 425 MB/s Read, 394 MB/s Write USB 3.1: 432 MB/s Read, 396 MB/s Write I don't see much big difference between using USB 3.0 and 3.1 on my ASUS Z170 Hero by switching USB Ports, also it will run just fine on USB 3.0

This is my third 'professional' line SanDisk flash drive and I have to say that I am impressed with the performance. Even though it is a USB 3.1 drive, it operates optimally in a USB 3.0 port. Just take precaution when handling this drive after copying large amounts of files as the drive itself gets VERY WARM to the tough and requires for you to let it sit for a minute or two post useage before safely removing from the USB port. Pick one up when it's on sale and you won't be disappointed.

Great product that is easy to use and very reliable. Just plug it in and use it. Great capacity and fast speed. Impressive speed and capacity.

If you want speed on a USB drive, this is the one to get. The connector slides out and locks into place perfectly-- was worried it would be loose or slide back when trying to plug it in If I had to improve anything, it would be the slider itself where you place your thumb-- it should be rubberized or have a steeper angle so you can easily slide the connector out. Not at all a deal breaker, just a nit-pick.

You can feel the quality. The slide, the way it snappes into place. Doesn't feel like they'll be any problems with this usb. It will last a long time i think. Being able to retract the head helps keeps the dirt and lint at bay. Great design hope they keep with it.

But these as a gift for a friend. I own 2 of these and have been using them for the past year. The reliability and speed are unlike any other flash drive I have used. The build quality is also reassuring. I recommend to anyone looking for a durable fast flash drive.

Looks very durable although it does get warm to touch during heavy file transfer probably because of the speed. I guess it only shows that the aluminum casing is working to absorb and dissipate the heat.

This thumb drive is so so so fast. It's way worth the price. I know it's high, but it works better than any other thumb drive I have used and is super durable. 10/10

Very impressive speeds. it lives up to ssd speeds in a flash drive format. The opening and closing is also a very satisfying feeling.

Got it to move large file around and boy, its FAST. You'll feel it when you're working on those huge 4K videos. I'm happy with the speed, and the Sandisk warranty is reassuring. One point, do consider getting a USB 2.0 extension cable: for situations when you might find that this flash drive may not work with your standalone device(Roku TV for eg), it works magic. All in all, if you like the speed and can afford it, go get it. You definitely won't regret.

Great compact device for the speed and storage and it was on sale.

Bought this to replace my old USB's I used for DJ gigs. I was surprised by how fast it exported my playlists from Rekordbox. Previously it would take anywhere between 30 mins - 1 hour to export 1 playlist (15-20 songs) but with this is takes less than 5 mins. People who use Rekordbox know how painfully slow it is but this makes everything better!

Fastest usb stick i now own, speed is awsome as long as your using usb3.0 or better. Only downside was the price, if it was a little cheeper i would buy 2.

Great, sturdy USB with lightning speed. However, max read speed I've got is around 250 MB/s for USB 3.0 port on a laptop. Write speed is typically 100 - 120 MB/s for large files (> 10 GB). It's still plenty fast, and I didn't conduct a thorough technical check, so I'm still satisfied. Not sure in what conditions it would reach 400 MB/s.

I bought this because when transfering large files the speeds were slow on my Sandisk 128gb flash drive and just weren't cutting it. I got this on sale at Best Buy for $79.95 and now even at 3.0 speeds files transfer so much faster. It is worth the extra money..
