What the package doesn't tell you is that out of the box it's formatted for Apple devices. However, instructions tell you what page to google to walk you through reformatting to a Windows device. I didn't find it difficult to do, but if you're not particularly tech savvy, you might wanna find something specifically for Windows.

Love the portability. The size and the large capacity is amazing to support all of the information i want to store on it

I bought this hard drive for some remote work I was doing. It held up really well, and I am really impressed by its speed. The price point is also very good for the quality.

The SanDisk Professional G-Drive works great. I have been using it for about a month and have not noticed any lag in performance, like other external drives. I purchased the 2 terabyte capacity to ensure adequate storage for backups on my MacBook Pro. Oh, not to mention, the SanDisk G-Drive is enclosed in a rugged case to easily withstand drops and shield it from debris. I highly recommend the SanDisk Professional G-Drive.

Very nice hard drive... fairly fast. However, I was searching the Best Buy site for SSD... and this drive came up and I bought it, not realizing it was not an SSD. So, be careful with Best Buy search
