Customer Ratings & Reviews

Purchased this Shark Air Purifier because I had bought a second hand lift chair for my husband and didn't realize it smelled somewhat like smoke when I got it home. Not only that my husband and I were both having itchy eyes in that room and decided an air purifier was the way to go. Since I already own 3 other Shark air purifiers, but not this model, I decided to definitely go with another Shark. It was delivered same day and was extremely easy to set up. You have to turn the bottom cover off which exposes the filter. Then remove the plastic covering off filter and simply insert it back in. I keep it running constantly ~ not on Auto ~ and it has cleared up the smokey odor and our eyes are no long itching. Since it's our TV room and we're in it a lot this has been a blessing! It's not the quietest on a high mode setting but if you have it on low (like in a bedroom) it's really quiet. We keep it on 3 and it doesn't interfere with the TV sound and is not distracting at all. I am quite pleased with the purchase and have had no problems whatsoever with any of my Shark purifiers! It definitely does the trick. I can highly recommend the purchase!

I recently purchased the Shark Air Purifier Max, and I must say, it has exceeded my expectations in every way. As someone who values a clean and allergen-free living environment, this air purifier has been a game-changer. First and foremost, the Shark Air Purifier Max is incredibly efficient. It quickly eliminates dust, allergens, and odors, making the air in my home noticeably fresher. The difference in air quality is truly remarkable, especially for someone like me who is studying and working with computers for long hours. One of the standout features for me is the quiet operation. It's so discreet that I often forget it's running. This is a big plus when I need to focus on my college assignments or engage in productive tasks. It doesn't disrupt my workflow or concentration at all. The user-friendly interface and controls make it a breeze to customize the purifier's settings to suit my needs. I can adjust the fan speed, set a timer, or simply let it run on auto mode, which intelligently adapts to the air quality in the room. As someone working on improving my social skills, the Shark Air Purifier Max has been a conversation starter when friends and guests visit. It's aesthetically pleasing and has sparked interesting discussions about health and well-being. This air purifier has made my living environment more comfortable and accommodating. In summary, the Shark Air Purifier Max is a fantastic investment for anyone seeking cleaner air and a healthier home environment. It aligns perfectly with my goal of providing a stable lifestyle for myself, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve their living space.

One of the best things we bought and I’m glad we spent the extra money and got the big guns. As a severe seasonal allergy sufferer, my allergies have been so much better since we brought this into our apartment. Living in an older building, who knows what is hiding behind the walls and having a cat it definitely filters out the dander. Other things we’ve noticed is how quickly cooking smells clear out of the air. Whenever we cook it must sense the air quality because the number will drop down and within a couple of hours it’s back up again and we can tell them smell has diminished. In general, walking in the door you can tell how fresh the air smells compared to being outside in the hallway of our apartment building. Smells like a new place inside. Absolutely amazing! I attached a picture of the filter, we got about 7 months out of ours. Filter life had 10% remaining. But you can clearly see the left is the used one and right is the new one. I would recommend this product to anyone with allergies and combine that with fresh smelling air this is a home run.

After my son was diagnosed with asthma, I became much more aware of the air quality in our home. I first bought the smaller version (same brand) for his room, and then got this one for our living area since it covers a larger space, but it ended up in our bedroom instead! Even my husband, who usually doesn’t pay much attention to things like this, ended up loving it. Now it permanently lives in our room, and I’ll have to buy another one for the living space. It keeps the air noticeably cleaner, and the gentle, soothing sound is perfect for nighttime.

I've only had this Shark air purifier for a few days but it's already mad a noticeable difference in the air quality in my bedroom. It runs quietly and adds power only when needed. My only complaint is the blue light on the front which is very bright at night.

I installed this unit in my bedroom. Helps me with my allergies and helps with the dust that I have in my home which in turn, helps me sleep better. I would dust my furniture and need to clean it again about two days later. With this I’ve gone more than a week without dusting my bedroom furniture. So far so good, no complaints. I’d highly recommend.

We bought this because of the Wildfire smoke from Canada and my wife has COPD. Keeps the entire 1st floor of our house clear! About 800 sqft, with 5 different rooms. When we cook you can see the level drop until it cycles the air. Takes about 15 minutes to get back to above 95. On days with bad air quality alerts we watch it work harder but it still keeps the air in our house in the high 90's. So glad we bought it for the piece of mind that my wife is breathing clean air! It is a little loud when it is on high but once it gets the air clean you dont even know it is on. We just leave it on auto and let it do its job 24/7.

This device does an excellent job purifying the the air in my home. Also takes away bad odor in the air. Very sensitive and quiet performance.

works as designed, cleans the air. Silent, nice screen and controls. Not sure why revfor this item mixed with all the other reviews for fryer and coffee makers and etc. Makes to believe what i suspected all along, rigging reviews. Cant find any stats on energy use, and filters way overpriced... would be almost worth to buy another unit on sale for as much

This shark air purifier is awesome, shows me real time of the particles that’s in the air. I have this one for the main living area of the apartment and I have a different model shark in the bed room. This quickly gets rid of the food smell when my wife cooks. I would highly recommend this.

It's been over a year since our grand fur baby got skunked! This didn't take away the initial skunky smell but in time we found that it took care of wet dog smells, stinky feet/shoe smells, dandruff, etc it's quite and not overly large but works like a horse! It's one of our better buys.

Shark - Air Purifier MAX with True HEPA, Microban Antimicrobial Protection, Cleans up to 1200 Sq. Ft -.This product is more powerful and better cleaned the air in your house. You don’t have to carry it around to different rooms. The price is reasonable. It easy to unpacked and it is easy to use. The product is cylinder and it is not take much room.

I really like how this product cleans the air in the room without taking up so much space . I was concern that it was not working correctly at first because it kept staying at 100% for a few days and then i finally started cooking and the smell of the food and some of the smoke got into the room which changed the percent to 30% where the fan kicked on faster to clear the air .

Bought this for my asthmatic cat, yes I said cat! Since its been in the living room (which is where he spends most of his time) he has had significantly less asthma attacks. Its big enough to cover a large room and I love the air quality percentage indicator. It also has helped dimish the smell of the litter box.

Working well it is quiet enough when operating at max. Uses little space and is easy to move around the house.

Works great and the cool air that blows out while cleaning the air.

I Love my air purifier. It’s my first one ever and it is perfect ! I live in an apartment and when I cook it’s letting me know the air is not right. It helps with the smell and it definitely helps me with the dusk.

The dust is gone, the odors are gone, our sneezing continuously is gone. Wish I had gotten this years ago. What a difference it has made in my home.

Works great, gets the job done, my allergies have been great

This is a must have for every house. It gives a percentage of air quality and my family has noticed a significant difference in breathing and allergy reduction.
