Sensor data is advertised using the BTHome open standard for Bluetooth Low Energy which makes it work out-of-the-box with Pareto Anywhere open source IoT middleware and any other BTHome-capable platform. The BLU Motion supports broader operating temperatures than competing sensors, thereby making it ideal for unheated entrances in colder climates.

Works great. Took a little while to figure ouy how to set it up. The FB shelly group always has good info.

Devices work just as advertised. Currently set up via Home Assistant attached to a Shelly Plus 1 controlling Hue Lights. I Love it!

Works well and triggers lights with little to no delay

Took a while today set up. The secret was that I needed to open the enclosure to press the reset button Why not publish it in printed instructions in the box.

Sensor has decent sensitivity. I would like to see one with the ability to pick up with a broader vertical range . Perhaps a more segmented lens for higher mounting heights. Introducing multiple pyroelectric detectors would help. Cut a Steinel sensor open and you will see the multiple pyro array

I found the motion detector difficult to configure and does not always recognize motion. I finally figured out how to schedule it and am generally happy.

These can be a bit slow to respond, maybe 1-2 seconds, but sometimes they act fast. Overall I like them and have 8 in the house.

Still think it lacks some functionality that the previous Wifi-based Motion units had. Like the option to link actions directly to other units. It is more cumbersome to create scenes, which aren't doing exactly what you want, even in the most simple tasks.

Very good. Just a little lag between the movement and its red light that means a small delay in motion recognition
