Shrek is one of those films that's cemented in pop culture and for good reason. This was the film that put Dreamworks on the map. A great film that wonderfully spoofs the traditional fairy tales that we all know. The steelbook design is good, but I feel that it could've been better.

Shrek is an all around classic and now it gets a 4k steelbook. The steelbook has a simple yet pleasant design and is a great way to celebrate the 20th anniversary.

A beautiful steel book to have in your collection. Hope they release more of the Shrek movies like this. The artwork is simple and adorable!

This purchase of Shrek is a repeat buy -- my children enjoyed it so much when they were younger (try a road trip to Florida listening to it over and over...) that we ended up having to replace it for the grandchildren! Definitely recommend this for young (they enjoy the characters) and for those older (some of the jokes definitely appeal).

Shrek has never looked better than it does in 4k. Shrek is life.

Good movie with adult humor. Interesting characters and plot line. I would recommend this movie to anyone who likes comedy.

Shrek might have been one of those computer animated films that really raised and set the bar for the genre. Between its smart writing and entertaining story, hilarious voice acting (Mike Myers and Eddie Murphy, need I say more?), appeal to both adults and kids, and superb animation, it's no wonder it won the first Oscar for best animated feature. I had never watched it in 3D, and only had the DVD before, so this was the perfect way for me to upgrade to hi-def, as the 3D disc also plays in 2D. A fantastic movie in 2D, Shrek plays outstanding in 3D. The depth really adds extra definition to the already stellar picture quality, and the sound has plenty of oomph, along with the music that fills the room appropriately. Dialogue is crystal clear and never lost in the mix. For anyone who enjoys 3D movies even half as much as I do, and loves Shrek, this is a worthy addition to your 3D collection, and a must have at least on 2D bluray.

I love this movie when it first came out, no I have two grand daughters that loves it and much as I do.

This is such a fun movie. Kids will enjoy it, but so can adults. You will not mind rewatching this one!

Fun film for all ages- something for everyone in this retelling of classic fairy tales

08/03/2018 - I'm very new to 3D movies, and this is my 1st review. First, Shrek is a fantastic movie on it's own (2D). My family and grandkids love it. The 3D version was on sale last week for $9.99, so I couldn't resist it. There wasn't allot of 3D that jumped out of the tv at you. But the 3D depth was great. It looked like from the front of the tv to about 4 foot depth into the tv was all in 3D. The details of the picture was fabulous. This movie was a great selection to start my collection. My equipment, Samsung TV 60" Model UN60JU7090FXZA, LG-UP875 4K Ultra HD 3D Blu-Ray Player ($79.99 on sale right now), and Samsung-Compatible 3ACTIVE 3D Glasses Rechargeable Twin Pack ( I paid $110 for these, and I love them.)

This movie is very funny and great for kids. Caution for some Language.

What a great movie. Quality writing & some of the best one liners ever.
