Amazing vibrant colors! Bright picture! Great black levels! Only downside is that there are a lot of reflections in a bright room, but this is only noticeable if you are watching a dark scene in a movie. Would recommend putting it on a tilt mount and tilting it downward several degrees if in a bright room. Otherwise, I believe the Bravia 9 II does better in bright rooms due to its matte finish.

Much needed Sony

Just received my new Sony Bravia after replacing the one I previously had that functioned for 20 years. I love the slim contemporary look of it and having all my streaming and apps right on there right at my fingertips. The colors are very vivid and bright. I would definitely recommend to others. Especially if you are wanting the good quality of Sony at a lower price!

The color accuracy is the best I seen also the brightness is outstanding. I do not gameplay, and the living area can not darkened much (apartment setup). I use the set for streaming services. Google' s interface works very well with Sony signal processing unit. The only grip I have is the size range. The model I purchased was 50" size I would have preferred 42-43" size due to area constraints.

This TV's picture quality is outstanding, and the set-up process is fairly straight forward but if you want to customize your set-up to your specific needs, it gets a little complicated. After understanding the AI "logic" associated with the TV, I was able to customize my viewing preferences. Also bought a Sony soundbar to complement the TV experience. Right now the TV is located in our upstairs family area. We have it connected to a Verizon Fios TV set-top box and and DVD player.
