Super solid camera for photos and video

I’ve been using the Sony Alpha 6700 with the 16-50mm lens for a little while now, and it’s honestly been great. The image quality is sharp, the colors look good right out of the camera, and it handles low light better than I expected. The lens is really compact and easy to carry around — perfect for travel or everyday stuff. Autofocus is super fast and accurate, especially with eye tracking. It just works, even when people are moving around. Video has been awesome too. 4K looks super clean and the footage feels really smooth. I also like how customizable the buttons and menus are — it’s easy to set it up the way I like. Battery life is decent

The Perfect Beginner Camera!

This the perfect first camera! This does everything you could possibly ask for. You can shoot short films with this, document travel, make social media content, record family and friend moments. The list goes on but if you're looking for a camera to start off with that is equally as good at recording video as some of your higher end cameras with the right conditions and also can take great pictures. This is the camera you should get. The feature you get for the price are unmatched. My only word of advice would be to skip out on the kit Lens and spend the money towards a sigma 18-50mm f 2.8 lens. You can do pretty much use that lens for any occasion

Very close to the Fx30

I upgraded to this from the fx30 because I needed a hybrid camera. It has the same features and system as the fx30 which makes it very powerful. The only downside is that it will overheat when shooting extended 4k video. but if you're not working with that it's the perfect camera.

Great Camera! Limiting lens…

I do not regret my purchase! The Sony A6700 delivered and I plan on using this camera for the next 10 years! Camera is built well and feels very durable, auto focus is snappy and tack sharp! Settings are pretty easy to navigate and I haven’t hit any real overheating problems! (I had my temperature shutdown set to high) My only reason I gave this purchase a 4 stars instead of 5 is because the kit lens is… well… limiting to say the least! If you plan on picking this up I recommend buying body only then going straight for a cheap Viltrox prime or the Sigma 18-50 or the Tamron 17-70 trust me your future self will thank you!

This is a really grwat value entry level mirrorless camera. I previously owned the A6300, and this is worlds better. Autofocus misses sometimes but is better than anythinf on the market now. I noticed that it allowed me to shoot without a memory card in even though I specifically changed that setting. So I missed some photos, but other than that it has been a great purchase.

Main reason to purchase this camera is to make videos which take awesome videos. Is very easy to use. the settings interface straightforward, comfortable on the hand and not as heavy as other cameras. For me I like to transfer the pictures to my phone the Sony app is simple and fast. I would recommend it 100%

an excellent professional camera for beginners

bought this open box wondering why someone would have returned this thing. the kit lens leaves much to be desired, but has been fun to learn on. i absolutely love this camera and how much you can customize it. battery life is great for photography, and i’m interested to see how long it’ll last for video. this camera is incredibly powerful for its sensor size/form factor/price, and Sony’s autofocus capabilities on this thing are insane. as a tech nerd i feel like AI gets thrown around way too much, but whatever machine learning algorithms they have on this AF are wild. def keeping this thing for life

Amazing camera, this is basically a dupe for the canon powershot, you just have to mess with the settings to get that perfect picture. I also love that the pictures transfers directly to my phone.

Constantly overheats, shuts off.

I wanted something to shoot video while also upgrading my camera. This is my first Sony camera and first 4k camera outside of my iPhone. I can only get a few minutes of video before the camera shuts off due to overheating. You can sit in the Menu screen for a few minutes and the camera gets hot and gives off a warning.

Best Hybrid On The Market

Great hybrid camera. If you’re a beginner and looking to get into both photography and videography this is the cream of the crop. It’s got the newest Sony menu as well and has no limit on the record time. If your a creator this is great too just get a dummy battery and live stream away and when your ready to do an irl steam you can straight from the cam
