This cameras photo quality is extremely sharp, colors look natural, and the autofocus is incredibly good especially for portraits, sports, and low-light shooting. It performs amazing for both photography and video. Although you must do research on how to properly use the camera to use it to its full potential if you are just starting to get into photography! I love this camera! The photos come out clean and crisp (if you know what you're doing). It's definitely a great pick, especially since it comes with a lens. The kit lens is surprisingly good and can do a lot for what it is. You may eventually want to pick up a second lens depending on the type of photography you want to do, but if you're just starting out, this kit is perfect.
