Perfect on camera flash for my Sony a7RV. Works flawlessly with the camera and extremely happy with the results. Cycle time is extremely fast and so far I have not experienced having to wait for the flash to cycle after a shot. Extremely easy to setup and the rotating head adds unlimited flexibility In managing the light output. I’m glad I opted to pay more and get a genuine Sony flash versus 3rd party, it is work every cent.

Highly regarded as a quality Flash, this Sony is a great match with the Sony ILCE-1 body. The syncing in "high" frame rate on or off shoe gives the correct amount of fill every time. Recommend ypu review Mark Gailer's youtube instruction on menu settings for this pair. (The difference between a good and a great shot.

Bought this flash to use with A7R5. Easy to use and fast recycle time. I use it with a bolt battery pack and the custom cable for Sony. The swivel features of the head is an added bonus. recommend to all. Buy it.

it provides lots of light
It is a little heavy. but it provides lots of light. If you want to consider mobility I would like to suggest HVLF32M or HVLF28RM.
