The Sony WH-1000XM5 headphones I purchased from TheRight One through Best Buy have been extremely disappointing. Despite being advertised as “excellent condition,” they have serious issues. The headphones shut off randomly without warning, and the “speak-to-chat” feature keeps activating on its own even when it’s turned off. These are not minor inconveniences — they significantly affect usability and clearly indicate that the product was not properly inspected before resale. It is frustrating that an item described as excellent condition would have such obvious defects. Unfortunately, I am now unable to return them because the two-week return window expired while I was traveling out of the United States. I expected better quality control and transparency, and this experience has been very unsatisfactory.
