Was recommended these by my best friend, musician, and music major haha. Really own away. Stands toe to toe with the Bose QC 35s my dad has and maybe even surpasses them. The in app equalizer was superb and so many other cool settings. Was extremely skeptical the atmospheric equalizer would even be able to tell my elevation but lo and behold it was dead on when I tried it at 7500 feet at my house in Colorado vs at sea level. It had a great chic design with no branding but cool bronze Sony accents. Great battery life and sound canceling. Not sure I’ll ever be able to fly on a plane without them. Fairly comfortable and great for taking calls as well. Highly recommend.

Exceptional headphones! I use them primarily when we travel, but my wife uses them all the time. We liked them so much that we bought them twice, the first time a year and a half ago, and then again during the sale that coincided with prime day a month ago. So now, we don't need to share when we fly! They sound fantastic, and the sound cancelation is absolutely top notch. You can be sitting right behind the wing, directly behind and aside the engines (the loudest part of the plane due to the travel of sound), and all you'll get is the gentlest hum. When my wife would let me have a turn, it was the biggest and most comforting relief. Cannot recommend these enough for the noise cancelation alone. As far as sound quality, theyre really outstanding in that regard too. The full audio range is nicely calibrated out of the box. I sometimes even use them for watching and television at home if my wife is sitting next to me and shes talking on the telephone. Excellent sound quality. You get the base is great, the dialog comes clear. Features are cool. You can connect to 2 things at once, you can turn the noise cancellation on/off, you can have it so that the noise cancellation automatically turns on/off if you start talking. neat stuff. Easy to pair with devices like most Bluetooth devices. Ive paired with my television, sound system, cell phone, etc. The only thing i couldnt pair it with was my PS5, but thats because the ps5 "doesnt allow for audio bluetooth devices" (per the ps5 notification that pops up. They seem durable enough, unlike the newer versions. The newer versions of these (the xm5 and xm6) have these little thin hinges atop the earcups, and if you go to the headphones subreddit, youll see constant posts of those snapping. These, on the XM4, are wider, less stylized, and seem more durable. Very comfortable. I have sensitive ears, in that my ears get really hot and irritated sometimes, so i need to be carful with what i use/wear (and earbuds give me insane ear ache, so i cant wear those). These headphones have never irritated my ears. Theyre very gentle, soft, and breathable. I also have a rather large head, my hat size is between a 7&3/4 (XXL) and 7&5/8 (XL). For reference, the average male head size is 7&3/8 (L), which means my head is roughly a full inch wider then the typical. Now, you might think that an inch isnt that much of a difference, but it is. Point is, these still fit nicely and do not squeeze my XL/XXL head. As far as why i chose these in particular, i used the review website "RTINGS" to help me narrow it down, and it was a fight between these and the bose quietcomfort. After going to the bestbuy to physically try and listen to both pairs, i liked how these performed just slightly better overall. In conclusion - great headphones. You wont regret going with these.

Firstly I bought these earphones so I can pair them to my Sony TV when I'm watching TV late at night (my attempts to he considerate to other members of the house). They paired wonderfully, seamlessly, and didnt have that weird crackling/static noise i was getting when Paired other Bluetooth earbuds. I was impressed with the sound that I use them for listening to music while im working from home. They sound amazing! The bass is nice. The mids and the highes are awesome, too. Its not the punchy bass like my scullcandy earbuds, but there is a reason for that. Earbuds are directly in your ear canal and creates a seal, allowing for all the pressure to be forsed into your ear. These earphones work a bid differently and present the Vibration of the bass, but the pressure from the bass is disbursed around your ear. So, the bass is present, its just not punching your eardrums (its a good thing). These earphones are super light. If it wasnt for the heat that builds up around your ear, you wouldn't be able to tell you have them on. I do have to take them off and let my ears breathe and to bring my body temperature down a bit. I never knew how important of a role our ears played in regulating body temperature. the noice canceling is amazing. It truly blocks out everything. The ambient noice feature works great as well. I turned off the automatic feature for this because if I start singing or clear my throat, it pauses the music to let outside noises in. But, I do like that it pauses the music or video when i take them off and resumes when i put them back on. The battery life? OMG! 30 hours is so much play time that ive done a week without charging them!!! Ive never run out of battery, so I have the freedom of not really worrying about them at all. When I remember to charge them, I do. But, the battery life is so amazing that I can do it whenever i remember to do it. I opted for the silver/putty color, over the black. Black conceals dirt more easily and didn't want to be bothered with that. I like to keep things clean and since these headphones are going over two big holes in my head, I want something thats going to show dirt, so i can get rid of it. They are easier to find in darker lit rooms, which is a plus for me since i have dark leather couches. Dont want to accidentally sit on them and break them. I definitely recommend these. Would I pay full price for them? Probably not. I w9uld wait until they are on sale. Thats what I did and Im glad they were on sale when i decided to buy some headphone.
