Works as designed; pleased with the setup. I found that multiple phones can be configured with the same Square unit. We use the Square in accepting payment and donations to our local organization.

Easy to purchase, easy to use. Was able to pop in to Best Buy for this before an event and start accepting card payments at the event. EASY EASY EASY!

Must have item if you’re taking payments with credit cards with chips. If you swipe it then you could be liable for CC fraud.

If you need to take credit card payments at varying remote locations this is a terrific product backed by Square's top notch software and interface. I think it's much better when coupled with the Dock but in either case you can't go wrong with the Square Reader.

This reader is so much better than the swiper unit that comes for free with square. It can be contactless and you can simply insert the chip into the reader as well. When we switched to these readers, my wife and I were so much happier while performing credit card transactions because it's faster, easier, and it actually works better than using the swiping unit. It is worth the $50 not only for its ease of use and efficiency, but it has eliminated so many headaches.

Perfect for your small Business and on the go

I needed a more professional way to take payments from my clients other than constanatly punching in the card number. I feel it is def safer, looks more profession and saves the hassle from having to punch in all the numbers and constantly asking for zip code and such. I am not using it on a daily basis yet and since I bought it I have only charged it once it's been a few months. Used it yesterday and still has a full charge :) I love that it is all three in one so I don't have to buy a million devices the swiped reader is a separate piece but comes in the package.
