Starlik PRO works well for rural 65 acre farm
Much larger than standard and harder to handle. Easy to hook up to current network of 7 APs and a line of site to a far (1700 foot) barn. Speed is good but panel stays warm all the time. Had to use the wifi router as my first hub to get the system running. Not sure why i could not wire direct from the router.

Starlink Pro
Excellent product! Very high speed and worth the money. We were tired of our internet slowing down or even not being available…now we do t worry about that.

Thank you Elon! Game Changer for Rural Areas
I live in an area just outside the city limits so traditional high speed Wi-Fi through Spectrum and other carriers is not available. Consistent reliable internet access has been a challenge for my home office needs. I bought the High Performance kit because residential Starlink was not available in my area. Although it costs more for the high performance system and a business account, it is worth the additional investment. The internet service through Starlink is more reliable than the Spectrum Service I have at my office location. Here are some tips that worked well for me: 1) Setup on the base is extremely easy. Do this first by yourself to make sure your Starlink service works well for you in your area. 2) When you know the system can work well for you, hire a professional to run the cables through the walls for your permanent setup. 3) If you have a mesh extender network, buy the Ethernet adapter so you can extend the range of your Starlink. The system comes with a Starlink router but the mesh extender makes a big difference especially for larger homes. 4) Check out the mounting accessories on the Starlink website, if you can't find them on BestBuy.com. My installer was impressed with the quality of the mounts and accessories that I ordered.

Works better than small dish, but very expensive
I live in an area that gets more than 60' of snow per year and this does make a difference in weather. The download speed is about the same, the upload is 2x, and ping times are ~30% better. In clear weather, I cannot notice a difference, except that is more stable so less "robot voice" on calls. For full-time WFH it is worth the cost. For streaming and non-work internet I would not have spent the money as the small dish worked well enough. It is heavy so much harder to install.

Starlink - High Performance Model
It's pretty much plug and play. This is a great option for those who need high speed Internet access where no cellular or other means of Wi-Fi is available. One reason for the High Performance over the standard model is because of the priority of signal when the Starlink network is congested.
