Sunbomb - Evil And Divine - VINYL LP

Foxwarren, the Canadian indie collective fronted by Andy Shauf, returns with their sophomore album '2.'Joined by his fellow Canadian childhood friends and close collaborators Dallas Bryson (guitar), Darryl Kissick (bass), Avery Kissick (drums), and Colin Nealis (multi-instrumentalist), the eclectic sound of '2' - weaving genres ranging from folk to psych rock to downtempo - coincides with Shauf's curiosity and desire to incorporate a Native Instruments Maschine MSK3 sampler into his process. There is something uncanny about the feeling of these songs, the way bits recorded in different rooms amplify your attention, listening for how these layers lock. But their true connective tissue is the generous and gentle ways Shauf and the rest of Foxwarren move with melody. Album Tracks 1. Dance 2. Sleeping 3. Say It 4. Listen2Me 5. Quitealot2 6. Strange 7. Limited colored vinyl LP pressing. The Sonder Bombs have doubled down on their second record. 2018 debut Modern Female Rockstar was their first bet an all-caps attack against a male-dominated scene brandishing a ukulele and dry wit as chosen weapons. A year and some change passed, where the Cleveland, OH band's relentless touring ethic and tough love caused a homegrown fan base to explode worldwide. Clothbound, like the title suggests, weaves a different narrative - one of loss, letting go, and losing patience with losers. Album Tracks 1. Papillon 2. Crying Is Cool 3. Vegas, Babyyy!!! 4. What Are Friends For? 5. Scattered 6. The Brink 7. Swing on Sight 8. The One About You 9. K 10. Play It By Fear

Montréal's Phobocosm continue their career-spanning collaboration with Dark Descent Records with third full-length Foreordained. Foreordained is an amalgamation of everything that came before it. A perfectly balanced fusion of the murky death metal depravity of debut Deprived, blended with the devastating doom of Bringer Of Drought. Remarkably, this was the plan all along InchWhen we wrote Deprived, we decided that our first three albums would be a trilogy, so Foreordained is the last chapter of that trilogy. We made a conscious effort to pace all three albums in a similar manner, since we wanted them to be linked-starting with a slow, crushing doom song and concluding with a long, epic, depressive one. It's not a coincidence,Inch reveals guitarist Samuel Dufour. As their genre of choice would suggest, Foreordained's lyrical concepts are about death, as well as the futility of denying one's inherent mortality. Hence the name of the album; meaning predestined, inevitable InchSince death is unavoidable, the end of all life and of our planet is also unavoidable, so there are apocalyptic themes also. The closer 'For an Aeon' is about a possible way the world as we know it could end.Inch Wrapped in artwork by the inimitable Lauri Laaksonen of Desolate Shrine, Convocation and Pestilent Hex fame, Foreordained is set to be a 2024 death metal highlight. Album Tracks 1. 1. Premonition 2. 2. Primal Dread 3. 3. Everlasting Void 4. 4. Infomorph 5. 5. Revival 6. 6. for An Aeon
