I just picked up Superman (2026) from Best Buy, and honestly, it exceeded my expectations. This version of Superman feels like a true return to what makes the character iconic—hope, strength, and humanity—without feeling outdated or overly serious. The casting is a huge win. The actor playing Clark Kent/Superman brings a great balance of warmth and quiet confidence, making him feel relatable while still larger-than-life when he’s in the suit. The supporting cast, especially Lois Lane, adds real depth and chemistry that helps ground the story. Visually, the movie is stunning. The flight scenes are some of the best I’ve seen in any superhero film—smooth, immersive, and actually give you that sense of freedom Superman represents. The action is exciting without being overwhelming, and it always serves the story instead of just being spectacle. What really stood out to me is the tone. It’s optimistic in a way that superhero movies haven’t been in a while. Instead of leaning into darkness, it embraces heroism and inspiration, which feels refreshing. The story itself is solid—not overly complicated, but meaningful. It focuses on who Superman is and what he stands for, rather than just throwing in villains for the sake of it. That said, a few moments felt slightly predictable, but not enough to take away from the overall experience. Overall, Superman (2026) is a strong reboot that respects the character’s legacy while making him feel relevant again. Definitely worth the purchase—especially if you’re a longtime fan or just want a superhero movie that actually feels uplifting.

Came in the mail with the cover slightly torn and bent. Got a partial refund since they offered to send a new one but it would have been the same poor packaging and risked an even worse beat up box.

This 4K transfer is beautiful. The level of detail in the action sequences is amazing, and the HDR really brings the world to life. It’s a great introduction to a new era of DC movies. If you’re a collector, this is the definitive way to watch the film. I’m already looking forward to the next chapters of this universe.

This was an awesome time at the movies, and the high A/V quality here matches the experience I had in a theater. Extras here are well made and informative, though I am frustrated by WB's decision to NOT include an Director's Audio Commentary on disc, it is instead exclusive to the Digital Copy. HOWEVER, Gruv really dropped the ball here with their decision to use thin cardboard envelopes tight enough to damage the exclusive slipcase. That is unacceptable on a NEW Pre-ordered product, and to not be offered a full refund from damage caused by their decisions is disheartening. I was excited for physical media to come through Best Buy again, but Gruv as the main seller has been a frustrating experience I caution you away from.

I love this movie. Although the packaging could be a bit more nice, I still enjoy the reflective cover. Gunn really did what he sought out to do, and I’m so thankful for him doing so.

We have a great time watching this Superman my family really enjoyed it, im a fan of Christopher reeve Superman since i was a kid and this Superman is hopeful and true to it source material I highly recommended it for Superman fans!

Enjoyed this movie a lot. Lighter tone compared to Zach Snyder's version; more reminiscent of the Christopher Reeves version. Nicholas Hoult was excellent as Luthor. Looking foward to the next movie

An entertaining Superman film. David Cornswet is really good in it. Nice production value. It has it's flaws but it is entertaining. Lot's of extras on the disc.

I put it in my blu ray player and it worked. It was a story about a man that could only be described as super. I’m talking about a man that can do stuff I can’t (though some that admittedly I can).

I’m not a SUPER Superman fan, but I enjoy this movie. Maybe it was because the Kryptonian got Hit quite a bit through the whole movie.

One of the best movies of 2025. Plays great and the picture is colorful and sharp.
