Covers all the Bases Security Camera!
karenjeanne Posted
This security camera is perfect by our front door. It works outside which is great because it does get weather, sun and some rain. I was looking for a flood light because we get alot of movement at our front door - we get alot of packages. There have been recent thefts also. I feel great and safe with the light as a deterrent. The voice control is also a nice feature. We had to install it, but that was pretty straight forward. Totally recommend this!

Thank you for your feedback. We're so glad to hear that the security camera is a perfect fit for the peace of mind you need, especially with the added bonus of the floodlight and voice control. It’s great that the weather-resistant design is holding up well too, given the exposure to sun and rain.
It sounds like the camera is really helping with the high traffic at your front door, especially with the recent thefts in your area. We’re happy to know it’s acting as a strong deterrent for you. Simple little backyard camera/light
Jackie Posted
I installed this in my backyard and it works great. I love how strong the lights are. When it's dark, the kids can still play outside because the lights are pretty strong. Camera quality is also great with and without the lights. Installation is a little bit annoying, the fact that it still uses the electrical cables to give it power. Solar powered would be a major plus to this.

Hello Jackie,
Thank you for your feedback. We're so glad to hear that the camera is working well in your backyard and that the lights are strong enough to keep the area well-lit for the kids to play safely. It's great to know that the camera quality is holding up well both with and without the lights on.
We completely understand your point about the installation being a bit more complicated due to the need for electrical cables. Solar power would definitely be a game-changer, and we’re always looking for ways to improve our products. Your suggestion is valuable, and we’ll take it into consideration for future models.

Lighting for the bonus
roadwarrior Posted
This security camera comes with built in flood lighting & an app that is super easy to install, connect & use. I had some anxiety putting in a wired device but it was so simple..remove the light that was there, twist 2 wires, mount .it was as simple as that. The camera is terrific. I can definitely attest to it being waterproof, we had what felt like a week of rain since installation and it works like a charm. The 4k feature provide super clear film anytime of day..the night vision is nice at night. I wasn't sure what to make of the heat sensing feature but it's terrific in minimizing false alerts...something random blowing thru the filed of vision (like a rain storm) and it won't shot me a motion alert. It a pretty nice feature since I live in a wooded area. added feature of 2 way communication & the available flood light that can't be used as a stand alone thru the app feature which makes the dual purpose lighting a true replacement. for any floodlight on your house. It is managed thru the app which has become a major convenience for me when I am outside and need a little light..no more running into the house

Perfect for above my garage door

This motion sensitive light was a great addition above my garage door. It gives me the extra light i needed and an additional camera for my system. Pretty easy setup if you have an existing light fixture to replace and have at least minor electrical knowledge. Light is bright but not blinding and camera quality is good!

Easy Setup and Excellent Picture Quality

I couldn’t be happier with this flood light camera. The installation was a breeze, and setup in the app was just as simple. The app walks you through each step and connects quickly without any confusion. I had everything up and running in minutes, and the app itself is easy to navigate for checking live views or adjusting settings. The video quality is excellent, with crisp and vivid images during the day and clear detail even at night. The two way communication feature is another highlight, letting me clearly hear and speak to whoever is outside from inside the house, which adds real peace of mind. Easy outside light replacement.
KevinM Posted
Installation was a snap, just replaced an existing outside light. The app was an easy download and it found the security light right away. It took a little while to find my network as I have a mesh network and even though it was set to mixed, I needed to bring it closer to my actual router to connect to the 2.4. So thta part took a little more time. Outside of that, it seems to work good.

Hi KevinM,
Thank you for your feedback. We’re so glad to hear that installation was quick and straightforward, especially being able to replace your existing outside light with ease. It’s great to know the app setup went smoothly and that your system connected without too much trouble.
You make a really good point about mesh networks, they can sometimes add an extra step when trying to connect to the 2.4GHz band and bringing the device closer to the router was a smart move. We appreciate you sharing that insight, as it can be helpful for others setting up in similar environments.

Versatile Security Camera with Floodlight
MarissaS Posted
Purchased this to compliment my other SWANN outdoor cameras but specifically one that had a floodlight capability for my backyard. It is a hard wired camera but it meant that I could put it under my deck and does not need direct sunlight like the other solar cameras I own. Great video quality like my other SWANN cameras and simple to install. I have little to no electrical knowledge but it was fairly straight forward to install. I found some helpful YouTube videos for install. Bonus that it could be installed on the ceiling or wall!

Great floodlight camera
SanchongC Posted
The device came defective. The part that locks the camera with the base is broken and have to head back to store to get an exchange. The installation of camera is complicated and I have to hire a professional to wire the power. The camera quality itself is ok. The light is very bright though. Most importantly, the camera doesn't require any subscription plan.

Floodlight Purchased for Deer Shack
TerriZ Posted
Purchased for the deer shack. Easily hard wires to existing porch light. With a 32 gb sd card this has been great to watch my property without internet service. This is WiFi capable but, this is still functional without it. Allows us to watch the property with simple use of sd card. Loaded with tons of other features; talk and listen, heat and motion if you do have internet connection. Has a siren activated by motion to deter crime. The camera can even detect license plates! Connected easily so would definitely recommend.

Installation is probably the most frustrating thing when you aren't a handy person so I would recommend getting someone to professionally help out. Otherwise pretty responsive. Its very bright like blinding at times but provides great light for a patio or front of garage. Night vision is okay, sometimes blurry with internet connection problems but thats probably a internet problem. Wish it was better.

Just recently installed this camera in our back yard. Was not expecting this item to be extremely sensitive to small movements. We do have little animals such as cats, squirrels, rabbits in our neighborhood and the camera would send alerts with every movement detected. Clear image quality and resolution! Feeling alot more safe since this camera has been installed.

Hi Jackie,
Thank you for your great feedback. We're so glad to hear that the camera is giving you peace of mind and that the image quality and resolution are living up to your expectations. It’s awesome that you’re feeling safer with the new setup.
We understand that the sensitivity to small movements can be a bit much, especially with the little critters in the neighborhood. Many cameras have adjustable sensitivity settings, so if you haven’t already, you may want to fine-tune that to reduce unnecessary alerts while still catching the important events.

This is a great security camera built with floods. It is wired so if you don’t have a ceiling mounted light today you will have to have an electrician move your wire. This is not DIY. If you have an existing floodlight this is for you.

Hi Pepster,
Thank you for your feedback. We're glad to hear you’re enjoying the performance of your floodlight security camera. You’re absolutely right, for users without an existing ceiling-mounted light or wiring, installation may require an electrician, and it’s not a typical DIY setup.

Great video quality and simple to install. I bought this to replace a current flood light and I only have minimal electrical knowledge.
