I ordered two of these because synology says you have to use their approved drives. Well, one of the drives would not be recognized by the NAS, no matter what bay I swapped it to. For a very expensive drive, I didn't think a 50% success rate was acceptable after pulling everything out of the box brand new. Reluctantly I kept one and ordered two ironwolfs at half the price and everything is working smoothly. However, I will always be a little nervous with this one drive considering my experience so far.
