Budget TV for Quick Upgrade

This tv is not going to give you the most amazing viewing experience when it comes to sound or best colors, yet at the price point of just over $200 that it is being sold at, this budget TV is worth it. Pros: 55 inch TV sitting at $200 is a bargain Easy setup 4 HDMI ports 4k HD Resolution available (Lackluster due to refresh rate but at least compatible) Cons: Sound quality is mediocre Picture Quality not as great but that's due to it being LED and unable to handle in dark rooms Refresh rate is subpar Overall this tv is still worth it if you are just looking for a cheap update whether it be for a kids room, guest room, or needing to upgrade from a smaller TV to a larger one with out shelling out a lot of money. Roku built into this smart tv also makes it very user friendly to use right of the box. Price point also gives ease of mind that you can get some years out of this TV without feeling like you're wasting money.

I’m very happy with this 55-inch TV. The picture quality is sharp, bright, and vibrant, with great colors and excellent contrast. The sound is surprisingly good, and the smart features are easy to use. Streaming apps load quickly, and the interface is smooth and responsive.

Fits what I need.

I bought this tv for my guest room. It has an okay picture and will work well for occasional use. I would not recommend for heavy primary tv use due to its mediocre processing speed; unless you plan to use it with a streaming device.

Bought this TV because it's on sale. I have another TCL TV that I am very happy with. I assume this TV should be just as good as my older TCL. Wrong, it lasted only 3 days and lost all brightness on the TV. I tried to adjust the brightness but nothing happens. Still very dark and not able to see the screen. Called Best Buy and have a replacement sent to me. Hope this new replacement will last longer than 3 days.
