I am not going to review the music. The music that make up the album has been reviewed more times that you can count over the past 50 years. I will start by saying, any Beatles fan that is under the age of 50 needs to pick up this box set. Those of us who bought the album in 1967 remember hearing the album in mono. At the time AM radio was king. In the Midwest we would hear "Pepper" on AM radio giants like, CKLW, WLS, WOWO, all 50,000 watt AM radio stations. Back in 1967 stereo was just starting to get a foot hold. Record labels issued albums for acts like The Beatles, Monkees, Stones, Who, and The Doors, on both mono and stereo formats. If you listen close to the remastered mono version, you can hear John Lennon counting the bars on "A Day In the Life". On the mono reprise of "Sgt. Pepper" a tape "wow" can be heard during the intro. Some more information for the under 50 fans. "Sgt. Pepper) was the album that started the "Paul is dead" rumor because his back was turned on the photo on the back of the album. Over all the box set is a must for any serious any aged Beatles fan. For me one of the highlights is the mono promo version of "Penny Lane" with the riff at the very end. The box set has the original album in lay card, along with other in lay cards. The book is great, and the way the CD's are packaged is really nice. I am going to buy a second copy and keep unopened. Who knows how much it may be worth in the future.

Wasn't going to buy the Deluxe Edition at first, but after reading about the special packaging and that it included a Blu-ray version of the album with videos of Strawberry Fields and a Day In A Life I was more tempted. Then I saw Jimmy Fallon on the Tonight Show with Giles Martin the producer of the album and was hooked. Then when I received the package in the mail and opened it and was Very pleased to see the 'Cracker Jack' retro outer sleeve of the album cover.. Glad that I got.. But I'm also a huge Beatles Freak!

Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band is back in a beautiful 6 Discs Super Deluxe Edition that I highly recommend this collection box set. This is a must have for Beatles fans including myself who really wanted to get this Super Deluxe Edition of Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band 50th Anniversary Edition. Here's to another 50 years of Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.

We all know the music. The booklet has great info, like a reproduction of the original tape box cover. Has the cardboard insert the original had. The mono version is Taylor-made for a single speaker (like a Bose wireless).

I'm only rating this 4 stars for the following reasons: I think that this set is WAY over-priced & for some reason (and I'm not the only person that this is happening to), the 1st disc of this set constantly errors when I try to either play it, or import it on my Apple disc drive.

Listening to this set makes me crave the same treatment for the White Album, Abbey Road and Let it Be!

the 3D cover alone worth every penny. Bonus posters are awesome.

Great stereo remastering. Removing 1 star due to the slip cover being slightly pushed in at one corner. Included book is hardcover. Definitely for Beatlemaniacs.
