About this product
'San Vito' is the new album from the Ivor Novello award-winning & multi-platinum selling UK indie-pop band The Feeling. The album was written and recorded in Southern Italy and saw the band decamp there to self-produce the record as a band together. What began as a short writing trip, turned into a full album project with the Italian sun, food and culture seeping through into the sounds on the record. The band brought in local brass, strings and pizzica / tarantella percussion players - the result being very much an album by The Feeling but with a subtle Salento flavour mixed-in.The title 'San Vito' is influenced by the name of the local town San Vito Dei Normanni where the band spent their time off from the studio soaking in the local culture, food and pizzica music. Highlights include lead single 'The Right Wrong', a gorgeous duet with US-based country singer Lucie Silvas, and plenty of the flamboyant, upbeat 70s-inspired harmonised indie-pop that the band are adored for. Album Tracks 1. War's Not Won 2. The Right Wrong 3. My Way Up 4. Join in the Noise 5. I Won't Sleep Tonight (FT. Lucie Silvas) 6. Intermezzo 7. Sun Won't Shine 8. Eyes Open 9. Foul Weather Friend 10. Call It Home 11. Everyday and All of the Night 12. Beautiful Lies

Vinyl LP pressing. This was Jarvis Cocker's debut solo album, and was originally released in 2006. It was three years in the gestation and 13 days in the making. Along the way he roped in Richard Hawley and Steve Mackey (ex-Pulp) to be in his band. Jarvis is a both a thoughtful and thought-provoking record, shot through with lavish beauty, dark humour, satire - both subtle and savage - and a genuine and much-missed sense of Northern conviction. The songs seem to exist on a sometimes-delicately-balanced-some-times- swinging scale between sentiment and cold-eyed analysis, each distinguished by the unmistakeable (and never better) voice of our lanky protagonist. Album Tracks 1. The Jarvis Cocker Record LP 2. The Loss Adjuster (Excerpt 1) 3. Don't Let Him Waste Your Time 4. Black Magic 5. Heavy Weather 6. I Will Kill Again 7. Baby's Coming Back to Me 8. Fat Children 9. From Auschwitz to Ipswich 10. Disney Time 11. Tonite 12. Big Julie 13. The Loss Adjuster (Excerpt 2) 14. Quantum Theory 15. Bonus 7Inch Record 16. Cunts Are Still Running the World
