My husband and I grew up watching this movie. Our kids love it as well!

An overlooked gem that the studio decided to release in the summer! DOH Not Halloween, so stupid. A cool horror movie with some funny moments. The movie looks great on Blu Ray and the disc is loaded with special features, including a director's cut that is about 12 minutes longer.

A classic, looks great on blu ray. Too bad BB is doing away with physical media.

This movie is such a good one! I personally enjoy this movie. Great cast with a great storyline to go with it all. The only problem I have is that the Blu Ray Movie doesn’t want to play at all, in my Playstation 4, player....

So, to find out that this movie had a directors cut and was on blu-ray made my day. I may own a lot of movies, but the Frighteners was by far one of my favorite scary movies growing up.

Peter Jackson's first real attempt at a big budget movie pays off.

Directed by Peter Jackson starring Michael J. Fox and Trini Alvarado, John Astin, Dee Wallace Stone, Jeffrey Combs and Jake Busey. A great movie much overlooked at the time, I watch this movie at leased 3 times a year. Filled with state of the art FX this film was the launching pad for Peter Jackson.

Very under-rated movie starring Michael J. Fox. The movie looks good on Blu-ray with both picture and sound very good. Good pick-up at a great price..

Underrated classic. I’m not sure if it’s just the nostalgia talking but I love this film. Contains directors cut. Picture and sound are “ok” but probably best we will ever get unless a 4k remaster is performed. Just get it.

I love 'Ghostbusters' and 'Back to the Future', so when this movie was released in theaters it was obviously that I had to see it. I was pleasantly surprised. The overall plot is entertaining and I very much enjoy the ghostly special effects. This movie also has a solid cast outside of Michael J. Fox. I'm glad I've finally snagged it in blu-ray format (I bought the DVD many years ago)...now it will join a few other films in my Halloween season rotation.

If you are a fan of Peter Jackson get this, if you are a fan of Michael J. Fox get this, if you are a fan of horror comedies get this! Film in New Zeland this film is beautiful, funny and has some of the best one liners from horror icon Jeffery Combs!

A classic film from the late 90's that was overlooked at the theaters. Directed by Peter Jackson this horror tale takes you on a rollercoaster ride as you follow paranormal investigator, Frank Bannister ( Michael J Fox), as he deals with his wifes death and builds his business by handing out business cards at funerals. Oh by the way, Frank also has the ability to see ghosts.

This movie does not impress with its special effects, but is still a must see. I purchased this movie because I had remembered watching it when I was younger, and I'm glad I bought it. It's a great comedy that's fun to watch!
