The direction is beautiful, the performances, especially from Michael clark Duncan are beautiful, the story, everything from the way it was shot looks brilliant. The 4K is a must, fine film grain detail, sharper, HDR balances colors over the bluray with subtle highlights. Special features are plentiful.

1999. What a time to be alive. Great year for film. Another great performance by Hanks. This is such a great and sad story. Beautiful film. Go see it

Just like The Shawshank Redemption, this Stephen King based movie is memorable.

In one of the best prison movies made, Tom Hanks stars as a lead security guard in charge of the prisoners. There is one special prisoner that has been sent there that seems to have healing powers after an encounter with Tom's character and him. The prisoner was sent on a double murder charge, but after what happened between him and Hanks' character, things start to look a bit off in regard to the charges and questioning whether the man got an actual fair trial to begin with. This movie looks really good in 4K and the sound is superb as well. If you love Tom Hanks and his well-done movies, I highly recommend this one! It is a long movie, a little over 3 hours, so perhaps watch it in parts, 1 and half hour each unless you can sit through a 3-hour movie all at once. Special features are on the Blu-ray disc provided and Digital copy with slipcover is here as well. Well done!

Such a great film at such a great price! A must own.

Frank Darabont, the same writer and director behind the powerhouse The Shawshank Redemption delivers once again!!! Side note: Both movies were Stephen KIng adaptations and Spunk who courageously played Mr. Jingles was quoted citing "I am disgusted at my Oscar snub, a true slap in my rodent face."

a classic that has finally made it to 4k. overall I am pretty happy with what we got. I will say though that the cover art for warner bros has become extremely lazy. dune the green mile etc all just kind of blend togeather side by side.

People say this movie will make you cry. Didn't believe it but once I saw it, they were true. You get very invested with the characters and they are handled in the movie was very emotional. Especially John Coffey. This movie will make you cry.

Based on a story by horror scribe Stephen King, this 3-hour film has a lot going for it. Motifs of good vs. evil dominate, contrasting warm, selfless characters with others who personify humanity's ugliness. It also credits God with endowing miracle workers.

The green mile is a classic of cinema and one of the best films, in this edition the change to 4k is very noticeable and of course it cannot be missing from the collection.

A classic Stephen King adaptation by Frank Darabont. It’s not Shawshank but it’s still good.

Touching film based on a novel from Stephen King. Starring Tom Hanks playing a death row guard who witnesses supernatural events from death row inmate Michael Clarke Duncan. Directed by Frank Darabont who also directed The Shawshank Redemption. Highly recommended!

Excellent performances by Tom Hanks and Michael Clarke Duncan. This 4K DVD is a must-have for your video movie collection. One of the few movies that can be watched repeatedly and never tire of.
