Frustrated with digital purchase expereince

I bought this as a gift, but found out after the code was sent that I'd purchased it for the wrong platform. Neither Best Buy nor Microsoft support would help me return it for another product. I'd suggest buying it directly from Microsoft instead as Best Buy provides no value-add to the transaction.

Not negative against the sims but against Best Buy. I purchased this accidentally and tried to return it the second that I noticed. The person processing the return took 30 minutes to do so and then informed me that it had been too long since my purchase to do a refund(even though I contacted them with 3 minutes of my purchase). Will not ever be purchasing from Best Buy again.
