This is my first computer game and second Sims game. So far it's a lot of fun! I had a few glitches because of my old laptop, but now I am playing it on my Mac and it's fantastic! Love the downloadable content too! This house is amazing!

The Sims is a great series. I've been playing since Sims 2 on Gamecube. Can be relaxing, or extremely traumatic.

I had read some reviews for this that were less than glowing, but I was pleasantly surprised. I was a fan of The Sims 3 but I got started too late to really appreciate all the expansion packs. I was excited to learn about The Sims 4 so I could start my collection from the beginning. I really like this game! I think that while they removed some things from The Sims 3 they added so much more! It's more realistic now, I think. The graphics are great and the controls are easy to use. The design a sim has so many more options to customize your sim to the exact specifications you want and it's as simple as a click and drag to resize things. I did get to try this for 48 hours through Origin before I purchased it and that was the best thing I could have done to convince myself that I wanted to purchase it.

A lot of people complain about the lack of toddlers and other things. I think the game is still fun just the same. I will say, without expansion packs yet, the game does feel like its more for customizing your sims and designing your houses vs actually playing. There are a lot of options for those two things, but without extras expansion packs bring, the game can get a little boring

this game just gets better and better. they made some improvements that help, but i wish they would just include everything in the game already. why bother with expansion packs? too much money has to be spent on buying add-ons and such.

Sims 4 is a good continuation of the Sims series and adds some nice features to the mix. There isn't much in terms towns (they're smaller than past incarnations). Better models, carpet now looks three-dimensional, and the sims are more communicative about things they want and need. A solid continuation, but missing some desirable features from past games.

The Sims has a ton of extra features and play options. Runs smoothly on Mac with a high speed internet connection. Track pad navigation is awesome but you still want to use a mouse as well. Great gift for the gamer in your life.

Always loved the sim. First time coming back to it in years. Love the new updates and easy to navigate.

I have been playing sims since the first sims. I like the new customization of the sims. The graphics are better. This is a good time waster. I usually play on my off days and enjoy every minute of it.

I love the sims. This game is the best. I do miss a lot of the features that you got in the core set of the older versions. However, the graphics are way better and happen to run a lot smoother than pervious versions. The autonomy is less frustrating and the babies are easier to take care of in this version. I do however dis like the fact that you have to buy stuff packs to get a lot of what previous version cores and patches gave you. Still a great game! 10 out of 10

This is the first Sims game I've played and I'd say it's very time consuming but in a good. There are so many details you can tweak about each Sim and their home that you'll spend hours and not even realize. Graphics are very good and you can noticed how intense it is on the hardware. I'm playing on a MacBook Pro late 2013 model and I've notice the fans are constantly on around 75% and can drain your battery in about 30 minutes so I'd recommend, if playing on a laptop, only playing when you're plugged in and have your laptop on anything other than your lap due to the heat. Only downside I can think of at the moment is the mandatory updates every once in a while that will prevent you from playing until they've completed, but that seems to be the norm in modern games.

I'm a big sims fan and figured it was time to get sims 4. I love the graphics and the new emotions sims are able to express in this game. Only downfall is it can get boring without all the expansion packs out yet.

Got this for my girlfriend (she had a much older version) - she likes it quite a bit, and now there is a sim version of me running around somewhere... The game does look good compared to the older versions, and should actually run well on a moderate pc/mac as well. Note - this game comes with DVDs, but it also has a code that you redeem on origin to download the game.

So far so good I like how you can do different techniques on the Sims 4 that you can not do on Sims 3. Sims 4 still need more addings to the game.

I bought this for my 15 year old daughter. This is her review: This this by far the best Sims yet. The overall quality of the game is amazing and this includes the graphics and the new features while playing. This game is really fun to play and I'm sure with all the new expansions that will be added, the game will only get better! Anyone who loved the Sims 3 should definitely give the Sims 4 a try.

The Sims 4 is awesome! The Sims 4 is the base game. I have been playing The Sims since The Sims 2! Then, you buy expansion and stuff packs to gain more activities, features as they are released. The Sims 4 went free to play! You no longer need the base game.

Updated graphics and unlimited combinations make for. Hours of enjoyment building your Sims world

Super fun to play with easy to install overall good game

We bought this game for my son and he loves it. It fits in well with the other Sims games that came before it.

I hear complaints, but consumers should know that expansion packs will appear and will allow for further game play. The graphics and the characters have a lot more detail to them and there are more interactions than ever before between Sims....
