Following the true events of Emmett Till! This movie shows a mother's endless pursuit for justice for her son who in 1955 was kidnapped, tortured and beaten to death during the Jim Crow Era in Mississippi. Her dedication started a chain reaction to the Civil Rights Movement!!

This is an excellent history film about the murder of 14 year old Emmett Till as he was visiting relatives in Money Mississippi. The actress who plays his mother does. an outstanding job. If you like civil rights history this film is for you.

I went to see this at the movies. From what I've been told, the woman that played Mrs. Till-Mobley did a magnificent job portraying her. I had to buy it.
