About this product

The vision with this record is to show how heavy rock can continue to challenge and surprise in 2023. The Danish band's heavy and dynamic sound and lyrics has taken a turn in a more progressive and dark direction on this record. Although the foundations of the band's sound are clearly laid by the giants of the past, inspiration is drawn both across time and across genres. Precisely this opportunity to delve into the past several decades of music history and through this define their own sound has been an important part of the songwriting and recording process. The artwork was developed by Travis Smith (Opeth, Megadeth, Katatonia, Avenged Sevenfold), who helped Timechild reach the perfect visual representation of the record. The album is once again produced, mixed and mastered by Soren Andersen (Glenn Hughes, Phil Campbell, Jesper Binzer). With his vast experience within the genre, both as a producer and musician, Soren was a natural choice when the band's new visions had to be brought to life. The result is eight strong and unique tracks, which broadly show the band's dynamic range and artistic visions. Album Tracks 1. The Dying Tide Part I 2. The Dying Tide Part II 3. The Dying Tide Part III 4. Call of the Petrichor 5. Hands of Time 6. Buried in Autumn 7. The Sign 8. Only Our Shadows Remain

TIMECHILD IS MASSIVE AND ORGANIC HEAVY ROCK FROM COPENHAGEN, DENMARK.The band's soundscape is made up of a powerful and present lead vocal, characteristic twin guitars and atmospheric vocal harmonies, which together create their unique Scandinavianexpression. Timechild was formed in 2020 by four seasoned musicians from different corners of Denmark. With extensive past experience in a number of former andexisting Danish rock and metal bands, the members had already crossed paths on both Danish and international stages. When the opportunity arose, they decided to unite theirmusical experiences and visions and created Timechild. The debut album was written and recorded during the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic, which paralysed the Danish and international music industry. However, this silence gave theband time to jointly develop their common sound and expression. The vision from the start was to show how heavy rock can continue to challenge and surprise audiences evenin 2021. Although the foundation of the band's sound universe is clearly laid by the rock giants of the past, Timechild's inspiration is drawn from across both time and genres. Album Tracks 1. And Yet It Moves 2. This Too Will Pass 3. Haze of the Dawn 4. Where I Now Belong 5. Children of a Killing Sun 6. Shrapnel 7. Choir of Man 8. Last Frontier 9. The Bite of Frost
