This game was not on my radar at all until I seen it on PlayStation network as a free ps plus game. Started playing it on the portal and wow what a game. Awesome black and white aesthetic and side scrolling gem. The combat although can be grueling until u get a swing of it is amazing and satisfying after a boss battle victory. The story is simple but engaging and it was so good I grabbed it on clearance from Best buy the collectors edition for a great price. Gran this physical version before it gets hard to find and scalpers inflate the price on eBay. Worth every penny!

I have been waiting for at least a year to get my hands on this edition of Trek to Yomi. The historical accuracy and attention to detail make me feel like a young samurai in that era in Japan. The game is presented in black and white to both accentuate the period and also to mask the amount of blood that is shed. This game is a work of art. Despite its differences from Ghost of Tsushima, I see no reason to not own both of them. Both stunning examples of homage to that time period.

yet another fantastic deluxe edition by sony and made for a title that leans hard and heavily into the classic samurai movies of old. if you are a fan of kurosawa and the seminal samurai movies of the last century, you will truly appreciate the experience this game provides.
