Didn't realize this version was going through the Intuit site, it's different and not as user friendly as when downloading the software to the computer. Live and learn, I might still buy the software to download it.

I don’t know why anyone would purchase this. It’s the same thing as the “Do-It-Yourself” product at Turbo Tax’s website ( https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/online/ ). The only advantage may be locking in the price at the beginning. However, Turbo Tax then attempts to upsell you every step of the way. I did not have any issues using the activation code. I waited a couple of days after the purchase before starting Turbo Tax, so that might have helped. I also didn’t have any issue uploading last year’s Turbo Tax’s desktop version file. The online version is not as robust as the desktop version. There is no running total of taxes that you owe or may get back. Unlike the desktop version, you cannot view any forms until you get to the review stage. You can never edit a form, just view it. If you need to also file a state return, then you cannot view any of the federal forms until you pay Turbo Tax for the state return. State return was $25. Once I paid the state return and was in the review stage, I could download the returns as PDFs with 3 different versions: • Tax Returns only • Include government worksheets • Include government and TurboTax worksheets I could also download Turbo Tax’s file: taxReturn.tax2025 I have used Turbo Tax’s desktop version for years, and for years have had issues with getting updates to work and to file successfully. For those reasons I decided to try the online version this year. Since I only need to file one federal and state return, the Online’s restrictions on the number of returns wasn’t an issue for me. I have not yet filed, so hopefully I will not have issues. At least I have paper copies and can mail them if needed.

The TurboTax Online edition is very unfriendly and difficult to work with. Hopefully this will be the only time TurboTax offers it.

not as good as the previous windows 10 supporting hard copy version even if it's more easy to access and simple. Deluxe edition hard copy comes with a state. With online only I had to buy two states. Worse it didn't allow for the deductions I could before, causing me to owe.

Installed without any problems, and initiated without any problems, but the problems started when I closed the program and then tried to reopen to continue working on my tax return. It continuously made me reinstall the program. Intuit tech personnel helped but the problem resurfaced and I gave up.

Shame on you TurboTax. Trying to disguise selling a download and then flipping me to your website. If I wanted to buy your online product I would go to your website.

I've relied on Turbo Tax for years and this is the easiest way to purchase.
