If you’ve ever put on a headset and instantly thought “yeah, this is different,” that’s exactly the vibe the Turtle Beach Stealth Pro II gives off. The Stealth Pro II is one of those rare headsets that nails comfort, sound, and features right out of the gate. This is one of those headphones that not only sounds good but also feels good. So, lets dive right into the Stealth Pro II. Comfort: Let’s start with something that matters the most because yeah you can have headphones that sound amazing but if they are not comfortable to wear for an extended period than they are useless. Well, no worries here. The Stealth Pro II have soft memory foam ear cushions that are breathable and the ear cups are slightly turned inward to comfortably sit over the ears and on top, the Stealth Pro II feature a mesh suspension head support. The headphones don’t clamp down to hard and are light weight making that all-nighter more enjoyable. Setup and Design: I love the exceptional design and build quality of these headphones, everything from the packaging to the headphones just feel premium. The headphones come with a very nice carrying case. Inside the case you will find the Headphones, a removable microphone, 2 batteries, battery charging base, USB dongle, and nice long USB to USB-C cable. Max Range: 60 ft Weight: .87 pounds Battery Life: 80 hours Before you can actually use the headphones, you will need to perform an update. To update the headphone, you will need to download the Swan II app. The app is user friendly and will guide you though the process of updating the firmware and getting them ready for your first ride. The app is also very useful is setting up the ANC, Volume Controls, Presets, Mic settings, Mic Noise Reduction and also allows you to reassign some physical button controls. There were some features that really stood out to me on these Stealth Pro II headphones. First off all was the ANC. I have tested out quite a few headphones over the years and there have only been a few headphones where the ANC was spot on blocking out excessive outside noise and the Stealth Pro II are right up there. I have a 3-year-old who loves to get in the game with me while I am yelling at my team mates and he loves to join in while running around the room, and the ANC on both the headphones and the Mic AI noise reduction was able to cut the noise level down by almost half, if not more. The ANC is adjustable, so you can also set it to your preference. It’s not over-aggressive, but it does a great job of cutting distractions and making everything sound a bit more immersive. Also, the mic is super easy to mute, just flip up and it mutes. The second feature that stood out to me was the versatility. You can bounce between Xbox, PlayStation, PC, and even mobile without it turning into a whole process. I was able to connect the headphones with my PlayStation while being simultaneously connected to my phone in case my kids set the house on fire and my wife needs to reach me. These headphones can be connected via the USB Dongle, wired connection or Bluetooth. Lastly, the battery life was another one. Technically, if you are not using these headphones on the go, you will never run out of juice and let me explain why. The headphones come with 2 batteries, so while you’re using one the one charges and incase you forget to charge both and they both die out on you can you always go wired connection, so you always have power for these headphones. But I don’t know why you would not use these headphones to listen to your favorite tunes because they sound amazing, which brings me to the most important point the sound quality. Sound Quality: The Stealth Pro II are powered by 60mm Eclipse driver with Dolby Atmos Spatial Audio that puts you right in the middle of the game. You can clearly pick up footsteps and directional audio in competitive games, but it also shines in story-driven stuff where you want that cinematic feel. The bass hits nicely without drowning everything out, mids are clean (voices and dialogue come through naturally), and the highs stay sharp without getting annoying. One cool feature with these headphones and honestly kind of felt like cheating was the “Superhuman hearing” option. This feature allows you to enhance the audio on certain attributes of the game such footsteps, and gunshots. I used the footsteps option a lot and it didn’t turn me pro, but definitely helped out a lot. I was easily able to determine the direction of travel without having to mess with my audio settings every time. And when you’re listening your favorite tunes, the audio just sounds amazing, the music is clean, pure, no distortion enjoyable almost putting you in that audiophile trance. Not so Good: The only thing that stood to out to me was the amount of volume control wheels on the back of the headphones. Until you figure out and get you used to which button or wheel does what it does get easy to mix them up. At the end of the day, the Stealth Pro II is one of those headsets that makes you wonder why all headsets don’t feel and sound this good. It’s comfortable enough to forget you’re wearing it, sounds so immersive you might start blaming your teammates less (no promises), and packed with features that actually matter. Whether you’re grinding ranked matches or just vibing to your favorite tunes, this headset shows up and shows off. This is one set that I would definitely recommend.

Hi Hmirza, we're glad to hear you're enjoying your Stealth Pro II! We hear you about the dials on the headset; although we can't change the amount of the dials, the lower dial on the left ear cup can be mapped so you have more control over what's being adjusted. In addition, the volume control dials are textured to further help differentiate them. We have this information listed on our support site here: https://support.turtlebeach.com/s/topic/0TOUR0000003JhF4AU/stealth-pro-ii-pc if you ever need to reference it. Best regards!

I own the stealth one and it has been overall an excellent gaming headset. This stealth two stepped up a notch specially with the new design and they look absolutely gorgeous. The ergonomic modern design with rose gold tone not only brings elegance but signature of premium build. They are wireless, multi platforms adding versatility across the board. The battery is rated at 40hrs and they support Dolby Atmos and noise canceling. It works on Bluetooth or its dedicated 2.4GHz wireless band. This premium quality headset also supports high resolution audio. The setup is relatively easy just plugging the wireless receiver to the platform of choice and that's about it. Bluetooth pairing works just like any other Bluetooth device. To take full advantage of its capabilities the Swarn II app is recommended and there you can adjust all the headphone settings and update the firmwares. The main base that connects to the computer also acts as a charging base for the battery. It has two led lights indicators one works with the head set the second one works as the battery charging indicators. The brightness can be adjusted independently through the app. They main light once the headphone it's disconnected it starts blinking for a while practically until the PC goes to sleep. That part was annoying especially if you stop gaming and just stay using the PC that light just stays blinking and it's bright. I ended up turning it off. Hopefully they can fix that with an update. Using them has been phenomenal; they not only provide good sound quality but also comfort. The mesh headband similar to the one found in the Apple airpod max, makes them feel like they are floating on your head. They are very light and can be worn for a long period of time. The mesh band since it has open slots makes them breathable giving air circulation on that part of the head when they are worn. Adjusting the ear cups is simple as just puking and since the extension sits inside the housing it keeps the clean design. Sounds guilty they are great, good deep base and clear mids and highs. While they provide some type of sound damping on their own they notice canceling it very noticeable when active. If you're an online shooter type of gamer and take advantage of the footsteps amplification, this Stealth II won't disappoint as it works great for that. Battery life has been phenomenal. I have been using them for about a week, gaming around 2hrs daily, sometimes more on my days off and the battery is around 80%. What's great is that the battery is housed on the left earcup swappable. The package included a second battery so if the battery goes dead there's always a spare handy making them reusable within a minute or so. The cap is magnetically held so it easily takes off or on. The mic connects to the headset via micro USB, and it also looks stunning. It has this strange design right where the mic sits making it look like a drone propeller is black and has the rose gold tone accent too. While the design may be strange it works extremely well to pick your voices easily. I was surprised that I could hear myself breathing sometimes but that did not translate to the game I heard it myself. I don't know if that was some type of noise isolation but it was impressive. As a multi platform it can be used practically with any gaming platform. It also supports simultaneous connection and easy swapping between three platforms using three receivers. The package already includes two, the charging base and a USB-A wireless receiver. That feature works nicely with just a press of a button. While this technically not something new, it's nice that they added the extra receiver as just the charging base. Overall, if you are familiar with the Turtle Beach Stealth family you definitely will love these. With stunning design, premium quality build, that brings outstanding sound and great comfort. They are easy to use and versatile enough that for one price is a headset that can be used across the bead whether is gaming or just music listening. In the box you get the headset, mic, charging base, USB-A wireless receiver, USB-A to USB-C cable, and manuals. Final Stunning Design with Great Performance I own the Stealth One and they have been an overall excellent gaming headset. This Stealth 2 pro definitely stepped things up a notch, especially with the new design, and they look absolutely gorgeous. The ergonomic design with the rose gold tone not only brings elegance but also gives them that premium build feel. They are wireless multi-platform headphones, adding versatility. This specific PC version works with PC, Playstation, and mobile devices. The battery is rated at 40 hours, and they support Dolby Atmos and noise canceling. They work through Bluetooth, their dedicated 2.4GHz wireless connection or wired through the USB-C cable. This premium quality headset also supports high-resolution audio. The setup is relatively easy, just plug the wireless receiver into the platform of choice and that is pretty much it. Bluetooth pairing works just like any other Bluetooth device. To take full advantage of all the features, the Swarm II app is recommended, where you can adjust the headset settings and update the firmware. The main base that connects to the computer also acts as a charging station for the battery. It has two LED light indicators: one works with the headset while the second one works as the battery charging indicator. The brightness can be adjusted independently through the app. The main light, once the headset is disconnected, starts blinking for a while, practically until the PC goes to sleep. That part was annoying, especially if you stop gaming and continue using the PC because the light just keeps blinking and it is bright. I ended up turning it off. Hopefully they can fix that with an update where it just turns off when the headset it’s off. Using them has been phenomenal. They not only provide great sound quality but also excellent comfort. The mesh headband, similar to the one found on the Apple AirPods Max, makes them feel like they are floating on your head. They are very light and can be worn for long periods of time. The mesh band has open slots that make them breathable, allowing airflow on that part of the head while wearing them. Adjusting the earcups is simple by just pulling them, and since the extension sits inside the housing, it helps maintain the clean design. I have a relatively small head and this headset fits perfectly without any adjustments. Sound quality is great with good deep bass along with clear mids and highs. While they already provide some sound dampening on their own, the noise canceling becomes very noticeable once activated. If you are an online shooter type of gamer and take advantage of footsteps amplification, this Stealth II will not disappoint because it works great for that. Battery life has been phenomenal. I have been using them for about a week, gaming around two hours daily, sometimes more on my days off, and the battery is still over the 80%. What is great is that the battery is housed inside the left earcup and is swappable. The package includes a second battery, so if one dies there is always a spare handy, making them reusable within a minute or so. The cap is magnetically held, making it very easy to remove and swap batteries. The mic connects to the headset via micro USB, and it also looks stunning. It has this unusual design right where the mic sits that almost makes it look like a drone propeller. It is black with matching rose gold accents as well. While the design may look strange, it works extremely well at picking up voices clearly. I was surprised that I could sometimes hear myself breathing, although that did not translate into the game since I was the only one hearing it. I do not know if that was some type of noise isolation, but it was impressive. As a multi-platform headset, it can practically be used with any gaming platform except Xbox. It also supports simultaneous connection and easy swapping between up to three platforms using three receivers. The package already includes two: the charging base and a USB-A wireless receiver. That feature works nicely with just the press of a button. While this technically is not something new, it is nice that they included the extra receiver alongside the charging base. Overall, if you are familiar with the Turtle Beach Stealth family, or looking for gaming headphones that perform, you will definitely love these. With their stunning design, premium build quality, outstanding sound, and great comfort, they are easy to use and versatile enough to be used for gaming or just music listening. The only downside to this PC version is that it wont work with the Xbox not even with the USB cable. If you don’t mind not having noise canceling and the rose gold, in my opinion, the Xbox version gives you better value for the money since it works across all platforms. In the box you get the headset, microphone, charging base, USB-A wireless receiver, USB-A to USB-C cable, spare battery, and manuals.

Hi Wishkid, thank you for the positive comments on all the features the Stealth Pro II has to offer and good catch on the mic picking up breathing! This is the mic monitor feature which allows you to hear yourself through the mic. However, we understand not everyone would want to hear themselves breathing which is why the microphone’s noise gate is adjustable using the Swarm II app, so these quiet sounds don’t make it through. You can find a list of the features the Stealth Pro II offers here: https://support.turtlebeach.com/s/article/Stealth-Pro-II-PC---Features-And-Controls And if you have any questions about any of these features, our Support team will gladly answer them here: https://turtlebeach.com/contactsupport

Build and sound quality are excellent! Most comfortable headset i own and i have about 10 pair. They sound as good if not better than my audiophile headset which is crazy. Punchy bass and nice crispy detailed highs. I love them. Highly recommend.

I've had a lot of headsets over the years. The Stealth Pro II is in the top tier. The first thing you notice is the packaging. Turtle Beach did this really well. It comes in a sturdy box that opens to a nice case. Perfect for storage or traveling with the headset. It's comfortable from the moment you put it on and doesn't tire you out from wearing it for long gaming sessions. I've also noticed that the ear cups don't get as hot on me as any other previous headset that I've owned. That's a huge bonus. With other headsets, I would always get too hot and have to stop wearing them. I've used it mostly for gaming (PS5), but also for listening to music from my phone. Both have great sound quality. The Swarm II app is what really allows the headset to shine. There are tons of options for customization. As far as the headset sound, there are options for "Superhuman Hearing", active noise cancellation, and game presets (signature sound, bass boost, bass and treble boost, and vocal boost). There are also five custom presets that you can make yourself to dial it in to exactly what you want. The second tab in the app is for the microphone, which also has a lot of options. There is mute, sensitivity, noise gate and AI noise reduction. There are four preset mic equalizer settings (signature sound, full, clarity, and smooth. The mic has five custom presets that you can make as well. You can also set the power controls for the headset in the app. You can set auto-shutoff to off, 5, 10, 20, or 30 minutes. The app also allows you to remap the wheel and mode button. The wheel can be set to mic monitoring level, bass boost level, treble boost level, or noise gate volume. The mode button can be set to active noise cancellation, cycle game presets, or noise gate on/off. The battery life is great. I've used the headset for several hours and the battery level is at 88%. This isn't a headset that's going to spend more time charging than being used. The bonus is, the hub has a second battery, so while you're playing, it's staying charged. When the headset battery gets low, just swap it out and keep playing. The battery is under a magnetic cover on the left ear cup. Swapping it out takes seconds. You can also plug in the headset (USB-C) while using it to charge it. As far as sound quality, I think it's great. I've mainly been using bass and treble boost, just because I play shooting games and like the intensity of the explosions. It also works well for music. The surround sound is great. I can tell exactly where footsteps are coming from. No more guessing. The one thing that I don't like is that when you have ANC on, you can no longer hear yourself talking in the mic. I understand it, but it would be nice to still hear myself. If not, I'm always wondering if I'm talking too loud. Overall, this is a great sounding, comfortable headset. I recommend it!

The Stealth Pro II is a versatile gaming headset that delivers strong real-world performance. Design and Connectivity The headset has a detachable mic boom, so it can pass as a regular pair of headphones for music. A mesh band on the head bridge helps keep my head cool during long gaming or music sessions. The headphones are battery swappable and they come with an extra battery for a rated total play time of 80 hours. The charging dock has dual role as a transceiver. The headset also comes with a USB transceiver. The extra battery and swappable capability are indeed useful. As for connectivity, the headset supports both PC and Playstation wireless radio connectivity, as well as Bluetooth and wired. The headset can connect to both Bluetooth and Wireless Radio simultaneously and it works great connecting both my PC and my phone. The headset carries Japan Audio Society certification for ultra-low-latency Hi-Res Wireless Audio, allowing high-resolution wireless playback through the USB transceiver or dock. On the hardware side, the headset is equipped with 60 mm Eclipse Dual Drivers. The headset comes with a travel case to fit everything. Performance The 60 MM Eclipse Dual Drivers and wireless Hi-Res transmission deliver their job really well. The headset is such a pleasure to use for both gaming and music listening. I’ve been playing Helldivers 2 and the headset gives me a great time. My voice is clear and easily understood by the other players. Gaming sessions feel alive with sounds and background music not being overwhelming; the dynamics and sound clarity are there. This headset is plenty loud. Audio positioning does not work as great as I expected, but that’s probably due to Dolby Atmos related issue, or even the game itself. I’ve been using other headsets and audio positioning does not work that great, either. But all in all, this is such a great headset to play games thanks to its strong audio performance and also ergonomics design. I can use the headset comfortably in long gaming sessions. For music, the sound is exceptionally clear using the wireless radio transmitter, with a more balanced tuning that I really enjoy. Conclusion Overall, it’s an excellent all-around headset for both gaming and music, with a premium design that looks like a standard pair of headphones. The extra battery and charging dock that doubles as a transceiver is just awesome and unique to this headset.

My favorite part about this headset is just how stealthy the Stealth Pro II is, especially compared to other headsets. Gaming or otherwise, most have a design to far in the direction of "corporate Teams calls" or "RGB World Championships of whatever FPS game," and wear either one for the other would look entirely out of place or have terrible audio playback, horrible microphone pickup, or no usable features without having to download software that is likely unavailable on company systems locked down by IT, making adjustable sidetone/ANC or ambient noise mix and master & Bluetooth volume adjustments all unable to be done. Turtle Beach Addresses this with the Stealth Pro II in a variety of ways, the most noticeable of which is right on the 'stealthy' body, the 3-wheels on the back to accompany the more common function buttons and power button. This is all there to make the Stealth Pro II almost independent of Turtle Beach's software or Android/iOS app, and just easier to navigate on-the-fly, the biggest downfall to all of these wheels is figuring out which is which. I did have some issues with my phone and the headset not wanting to cooperate initially after each pairing to have usable volume during calls or playing media, but by toggling the volume around it did change, it's just kind of frustrating but I think it's because my Z Flip 5 is 3 years old more than anything. The Stealth Pro II came in a case that is kitted out with a wireless base with a charging pod for the SECOND rechargeable battery pack (that I have connected to my main system), a smaller wireless dongle for a laptop or gaming system's USB-A that's the size of a small flash drive, a USB-A to C charging cable, 3.5mm audio cable, and the detachable microphone; all with a molded spot in the case to keep them safe while transporting or storing! The case does have a strong chemical foam odor out of the box, mine still does even after a week sitting in front of an open window to get that "Spring fresh scent" it still hasn't gotten rid of it yet. The foam pads on the headset had a bit of the scent at first, but it was gone within a few hours after opening. Big pro for the sound quality and replication of surrounding sounds, whether in movies or games is spectacular! The microphones are amazing! It's even better that the ANC microphones work double duty for calls when the boom microphone is detached, a huge advantage over other gaming headsets that will only allow for call audio with the boom microphone attached. These look and sound like a premium set of headphones, so it's nice to be able to walk around with them on, the microphone detached, and still be able to take a call if one comes through! It also means you can more easily pack the Stealth Pro II with you on trips or bring it on the bus, play a quick game at the airport, anything where you might not want to risk the longer flip-up boom mic. Overall, I'd recommend this for the professional who also loves to game, listen to music, and watch movies! The strong foam chemical smell is a lot for something this pricey, and there isn't a ton of adjustability for people with larger heads (I have a medium-sized head, fits perfect, but my SO can't wear it). Those are the reasons it gets one star removed, everything else is spectacular! Especially the flexibility with multiple devices, concurrent connections, and great usability without having access to the software or app just by using the controls on the device!

The short and the sweet of it to begin this review is that this headset to me is actually worth its cost. Finally, at a flagship headset price, enough features and benefits are present that my previous daily driver headset I was using for the last two and half years plus has finally been dethroned! I apologize if this review is all over the place, but I just wanted to rapidly get out some of my favorite features of this headset and share them with you. First of all, and probably one aspect that is of great importance in this horrendous period of inflation we are in, particularly in the PC gaming sector, is that this headset is future proofed from multiple perspectives. One such example is the ability to be able swap the battery is genius for streamers or long gamer session alike and also means that when inevitable battery decay over years occurs and your total use time drops too low, you will be able to readily and easily swap in a new batter for this device. To go along with this, the dock that allows for charging your INCLUDED spare battery and switching between multiple devices (extra USB adapters are necessary for this) is incredible and allows for amazing versatility for even the most intensive gamers. To top off this versatility praise, the simultaneous Bluetooth and 2.4ghz connections is awesome for when I want to be connected to my phone and not miss important calls but also can be really engaged and immersed in my games or music with the high-quality audio, which I will talk about next. This Stealth II headset truly works as a passable isolated audio product. I found myself start walking around my house after my gaming sessions just listening to my music from my Bluetooth connected iPhone without even considering that I was still using the gaming headset for this! Shaboozey’s Blink Twice and Good News sound unbelievable on this headset, while Follow You Into The Dark from the Alan Wake soundtrack pours over my auditory canals like a flow of warm bathwater after a cold winter hike. Bass boost mode in the EQ settings on the Swarm II software really does push the drivers in an incredible manner, while the Turtle Beach signature baseline profile gives the best-balanced approach to music I have experienced on this device. Another major area for praise, as random as this might seem, is that this headset ACTUALLY gets loud! I do not know what it is, but many recent PC gaming headsets I have reviewed just have very low and garbled peak volume, whereas this with my PC over wireless connection feels like it is just hitting its audio stride at 50% volume! Another audio aspect that I love is that the ANC mode in the Swarm II software settings can be set with a slider to be changed to instead be allowed to allow ambient noise in. Excellent feature and allows me to be engaged in my environment or to exclude it as needed with the excellent ANC. The ANC works irrespective of the microphone being engaged or not! Now, as for the microphone. While it will not compare to a dedicated desktop microphone, this microphone does a perfectly serviceable job and also includes two of my favorite things in a gaming headset microphone ever! The mic not only folds to mute (a personal favorite feature as a past streamer) but also can be ENTIRELY removed!!! This is a massive win and actually elevates this on its own to one of the most versatile gaming headsets I have ever reviewed. Most headsets I have ever reviewed will have detachable but not foldable, foldable but not detachable, or retractable but not removable. For a quick mute in the middle of a gaming session, I love the analog and tactile assurance of just folding my mic away, so I know it is muted, and the headset also issues a handy tone to indicate this folding up or down for mute or unmute was successful! Very nice indeed! And with the mic being removable, I wouldn’t even be embarrassed to travel or fly with this headset as with the removable of the microphone, it just looks like a quality, albeit bulky set of headphones. More to the point of appearance and looks, this headset is built with extremely high-quality materials and possesses the heft and feel of any comparable flagship headset I have reviewed in its class. Indeed, it perhaps could be argued to carry some aesthetic qualities with features like its headband from one of the more common flagship consumer headphones on the market. This to me is not copycat work from Turtle Beach but just utilizing a formula for comfort and appearance that is proven to work for A LOT of consumers in the market. Altogether, from gaming to music to just day to day life around my home, I will give this headset a massive 5 out of 5 star rating. I am so excited for connecting it to future devices I plan to buy like a PS5, etc., and I am truly chuffed knowing that this headset will be up to the task to providing excellent versatility and ability to handle whatever I throw at it. Do not miss out on this headset!

The Turtle Beach Stealth Pro II Multiplatform Wireless Over-Ear Gaming Headset for Windows, PS 5, PS 4 & Mobile is my new go-to gaming headset. The comfort, the quality of sound and the different ways to connect to devices make this the best headset I have ever had. This is specifically for PC, PS5, PS4 and mobile - NOT XBOX. First thing, you will need to charge the batteries, either one or both. YES, there are two for easy game playing swap-out! And when charged fully, they should allow up to 40 hours of use, each. You are able to charge them via the included USB-C cord, either directly on the headset or via the charging hub. Next, you will have to download the Turtle Beach Swarm II app, either to your PC or phone to setup the headset. The app assists with setup as well as customization. Updates are mandatory and if you are in the app, you will find that it immediately will tell you which part needs updating: the headset, the charging hub or the transmitter. These updates are not quick, but patience gets the software updated as needed. That's all there is to the setup. Familiarize yourself with the functions of the wheels and buttons on the headset and you're good to go. The microphone is really nice on this. It easily plugs into its port on the left earcup. It flips down to turn it to the "on" position and flips up to mute. It is very flexible so you are able to place the mic exactly where you want it. And if you don't want the microphone for a particular game, simply remove it. It is not permanently attached and functions more of an accessory that can be attached if you want. I love playing games on my PS5 and with that, I don't play online so I don't generally need to use the mic. You can read all the spec's, so I'm not going to list them all here for you, just some that I find most important to me. This headset has ANC (active noise cancellation) and it works extremely well. When I turn it on, I can't hear anything coming from the blaring TV in the other room or the cars driving by my window. I just hear pure game sounds. The sound from these is absolutely next level. So much so, that when I'm not playing games, I sit at my PC with them on listening to music. I feel immersed in whatever sounds I am listening to, be it gaming or music. Everything sounds AMAZING! The 60mm dual drivers have dedicated woofers and tweeters - and that makes a difference that I can hear. I have listened to them via the USB transmitter plugged into the PS5 and via bluetooth from my PC and iPhone. The sound is crisp and clear no matter how I listen. And I wouldn't want to listen to these so often without these being so comfortable on my ears, even as an eyeglass wearer. Glasses first, headset after: perfect fit. The earcups have "premium" memory foam, so they don't make my ears sweat while wearing them at all. They are also on the lighter side, with webbing at the top to allow for a soft-touch to my head. They also include a hard-shell storage case that holds everything in its place, safely. This Turtle Beach Stealth Pro II Multiplatform Wireless Over-Ear Gaming Headset for Windows, PS 5, PS 4 & Mobile is remarkable. For comfort, sound quality, build quality and features. I can't think of one thing I would want changed. I have a lot of headsets that I tend to go through waiting to find the ONE that I love. I have now found that headset! I highly recommend this headset! 5 Stars!

The Turtle Beach Stealth Pro II Multiplatform Wireless Gaming Headset for PC and PS are an amazing set of headphones. Having gone through many different sets of headphones over the years, looking for the “perfect” one, these Stealths check off every box. The headphones were packaged incredibly well. Excellent presentation in the box. It comes with everything you need to get going. The build quality of the headphones is by far the best I have seen. Super durable and excellent quality materials were used. These should last for years and years and take lots of abuse. But I think you’ll be treating these quite well. They are super comfortable on your head and even after several hours of use, you barely know they are on. They can be customized to fit any head shape or size. As for sound quality, I have heard no better. The sound quality is top notch. Clear highs, dynamic mids, and crisp bass make these an all-around winner. From dialogue to loud explosions, the sound quality is A1. Voices were clear and concise. Effects were top notch and the sound immersion was incredible. These headphones put you right in the middle of the action. The Dolby Atmos makes a big difference regarding sound. The active noise cancellation is superb. I love that the microphone is detachable so you can remove it when not in use. Simultaneous 2.4GHz and Bluetooth 5.3 put these at the top of their class. The 60mm dual drivers are the best I’ve heard. Finally, the swappable 30 hour batteries mean endless gaming! I can’t find any shortfalls with these headphones. They are superior in every department and sound incredible. If you’re looking for the ultimate set of gaming headphones, look no further. These are it!!!

Super comfy headphones packed with really nice sound. Out of the box I charged the battery for several hours and started the setup process. I downlated the Swarm II App from their website for Windows 11 and walked through the firmware upgrade. This took quite some time via wireless dongle so I decided to plug in the headphones using USB cable that sped it up a bit. So first time around the wirless took too long (I let it go on its own for about 20 mins then stopped it and went the wired method). The dongle took some time after the headphones updated. The entire firmware upgrade took about 40 mins or so just make sure you are patient. I would suggest starting right off the bat using wires so you don't have to wait like I initially did. Ok. After that and getting the dongle to pair with the headphones was a snap. I then went to test on Dolby Atmos sound it did really nicely. Spatial sound top, back, below, etc was all good. No apparent latency. The frequency and range is great. Highs are crisp and lows rumble enough. The mic boom is nice that it detaches is you don't want it. Buttons are easy to use. Volume up down etc is all easy to use. Range is good. I was able to walk across the house and not get cut out. Comfort and wear is really nice. The mesh keeps you cool during long game play and weight is nice. Medium weight. Battery lasts long. It comes with 2 batteries so you can swap out if need. Comes with nice storage case too. Great headset if you are looking for comfort and to rest sound quality. All good on and for my ears. Nice standard black color.

I've had quite a few Turtle Beach headphones in the past, including their newer Stealth 700 Gen 3, which I thought was great and was super impressed with the additional dongles for cross-platform connections. However, I have since moved away from those in favor of another "Elite" headset with much higher audio quality (and price, lol). So, when I heard the new Stealth Pro II's were coming, which seemed to take what the 700 Gen 3's have, but to the next level, I was super excited! Given the drivers and audio quality I'd imagine these would have at their price range, I also wanted to directly compare these to my more expensive headphones, just for fun, as well. So, for those interested, I'll throw in some comparisons here and there within this review, just so you know how this higher end of the mid-range headset holds up compared to the competition and higher priced headphones. I do want to preface this review with the fact that I also have the original Stealth Pro's and I'm just going to go ahead and say, at first I was impressed with them, but that quickly waned and I moved on shortly after - they just had so many bugs and other various issues at Launch. I am happy to say that will NOT be happening with this newest iteration! So, first up is the unboxing, as I usually start my reviews with this. Because, I mean, if you're buying a new product, you're also buying the experience. At least, I like to think that way. Especially for anything in a "multi-hundred dollar" price range. So, with that being said, the unboxing does feel premium! The box is nice and made of a heavy cardboard stock. It lacks filler inside, as upon opening, you're greeting with the case itself, which has a nice premium feel to it. Inside, you'll find the headset, one extra USB dongle and all the other usual accessories - the USB-C charging cable, detachable mic, etc (everything is included in my pics). I was kinda bummed though, as I know pre-orders for this product through Turtle Beach themselves gives you an extra USB dongle for pairing to an additional device (3, instead of the 2 you get with just what's in the box). Anyway, everything is packaged really well. Now, for the setup! I used these exclusively for my PS5 Pro and I already had the Swarm II app installed from using my Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 3. Let me go ahead and say that this is one thing Turtle Beach absolutely excels at. I don't think I've ever really had a setup issue with a new headset since using their Swarm II app. Simply plug in the charging dock/base station to your device of choice (again, PS5 Pro for me), along with your other dongle(s) to any other device that is powered on. Going into the Swarm II app after turning on the headset automatically detects them. You just connect them to your phones Bluetooth and away you go. Setup does take a very long while, though and I loved that the app suggested going to make a cup of coffee while you wait, lol. Seriously though, it took almost 30 minutes. Oh and make sure you charge them up before the setup process. Once all the firmware is updated, you're greeted with the app settings and such, which I will cover later. Now, for the champ of the show. I want to say that the build quality of these headphones are super premium. While not AS premium as my "Elite" pair of headphones, I'm very happy with it. Adjusting the sides at first were a paid, it took quite a bit of force to get them to initially slide out for adjusting to fit my head. I also love the fact that all of the wheels/knobs are more stiff and take more effort to turn. That was my biggest issue with the Stealth 700 headphones, the slightest touch would dial the knob and if not careful, volume would be really loud without you knowing about it. This has not been an issue for these cans at all. I also want to say that the base station for these is nowhere near as "obnoxious" as it was for the original Stealth Pro's - I hated that one and it felt super cheap. This one feels hefty and I have no issues with it. I also love that you can adjust the brightness of both the LED ring of the station AND the battery indicator light for the battery that is on charge - this is a huge win! For the dongle, I love they added a little pop of color with the purple logo on the dongle itself. It stands out from all of my other ones. I love the mesh canopy on top of the headset frame that sits on your head. It's super comfy, as are the cushions themselves. Most Turtle Beach headphones use a memory foam cushions with a pleather-type material. While this has never been uncomfortable for me, I love the more fabric approach to the Stealth Pro II's. They still use memory foam and they do not seem to get hot at all (to be fair, I've never had a heat issue with their other cushions, either), even after extended use. Honestly, with the weight, the mesh canopy and the ear cushions combined, I honestly forget I'm wearing headphones. Also, I have super oily skin, so I LOVE the fact that when I'm done, they cushions and head strap are not slathered in oils, which is something I cannot say about my other "Elite" pair of headphones. The audio quality, oddly enough, is going to be the shortest section here because, well...these absolutely rock! I always go with the "Bass and Treble" boost option in my settings and it's never failed me yet! Everything is so clear, crisp and detailed. I can hear everything independently and nothing seem to override any other thing in the sound department. I have played a wide variety of games with these cans and they slam on everything I've tried! I have played the following: Black Ops 7, Saros, Pragmata, Hades II, Diablo IV: Lord of Hatred, Arc Raiders, Nioh 3 and Crimson Desert. All sound equally amazing in their own right. I only have one issue and that is related to the volume overhead (how loud they get), which I will touch on, below. Additionally, the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) is nice and when on, they do their job. Although using the slider to adjust between the "Ambient" and "ANC" spectrums of the slider leave a bit more to be desired, as far as actually being able to tell a difference. Oh! And I want to say as far as pure audio quality, these do rival my "Elite" pair of headphones that cost significantly more. I even tested them on rotation for a few days and once I got the volume levels equal between the two, I could barely tell them apart. There was a small advantage that the "Elite" pair had over these, but it was so marginal, I couldn't justify the cost difference! As for the app side of things, that's great as well. My only real complaint is, I wish it would just auto-connect when launching the app. Instead, I have to click "get connected" every single time at the bottom. A minor annoyance that I've just learned to deal with. Outside of that, the app handles all the firmware updates. The first tab has your volume slider, when you can see change in real time when scrolling the wheel, or you can move the slider with your finger. There's also the "Superhuman Hearing" option, which I never use (it makes footsteps louder, but everything else sounds really bad). Then we have the ANC option, that I mentioned above. Below that are your EQ presets, along with a Custom EQ option, which I love! The second tab is for your mic and all related settings. The 3rd tab allows you to view your connections between the Headset, Charging HUB and Transmitters (dongles), as well as adjusting the brightness levels. Finally, the 4th tab handles all your firmware updates and status information. Overall, it's a great app and I never lose connection, once connected, until I turn the headset off. Now, for my last bit. I have had a few small bugs I've experienced, but nothing game-breaking. Turtle Beach - if you're reading this, here's some feedback for you: My first issue is with ANC off, any natural room ambience sounds almost "fake" or "robotic", almost like it's going thru a filter, which is the reverse effect of what turning ANC on should do, lol. Additionally, the volume overhead isn't great with ANC off. I have to turn it up to about 2 clicks away from max volume to listen at "normal" levels I'm used to - including a level to match my "Elite" headphones. Turning ANC on eliminates this sense of having a "filter" on and sounds great. It even pumps the overhead volume up more, to the point where I can turn it down some...along the lines of about 3/4 volume or a little less. Otherwise, everything is too bass-heavy and overblown. It's almost like turning ANC on just cranks the bass and ups the volume level. Honestly? I'd love to see an overall volume overhead increase across both ANC off and ANC on modes. My second issue is within the app. On the 3rd tab, under "Headset", it displays the Platform Mode as "PlayStation", which is correct. However, when going over to the Charging Hub option, it displays the Platform Mode as "USB-PC", which is incorrect. So, I'm not sure if this contributes to the volume overhead or not, or if it's just a simple display error. But I feel this should also reflect "PlayStation" as the Platform Mode as well, to match what the headset one indicates. Especially given the Charging HUB is what is actually plugged directly into the PS5. So, in conclusion, If you want an "Elite" sounding pair of headphones at the cost on a higher side of "Mid-Range" pair of headphones, these are what you want. These are seriously borderline high-end audiophile headphones for gaming. The build quality is excellent, the app is top-notch and sound quality is beyond amazing. Sure, there are a few "launch-day" bugs with the small issues I mentioned, but this wouldn't be anything that couldn't be ironed out in a few firmware updates! Turtle Beach typically does an excellent job supporting their product. Heck, even my Stealth 700 Gen 3's are still getting updates! If you're in the market for a new pair of headphones, definitely give these your biggest consideration. 5/5!

When I was younger I used to think a gaming headset was. gaming headset. With consoles, I preferred first-party headsets, as I figured their build quality was the best. Boy was I wrong. I've tested so many headsets. now, and have become more and more familiar with the differences between this one, or that one. Turtle Beach, probably the most popular brand, has made more and more of a solid impression on me as they were once a brand I strongly avoided. While Turtle Beach has several solid headsets, the Stealth Pro IIs may be one of the best sets out period, from any brand, commercial, prosumer, whoever. First of all, the build quality on these is somehow amazing without feeling over the top. While the headband doesn't feel super pricey, it feels like ultimately the right choice. While other brands may opt for harder materials, the band on these fees soft, yet stable. The ear cushions have a similar feel. Like Turtle Beach really put effort in to researching comfortability as they feel perfect. Not too soft, not too firm, just right. Then, there's the audio. First of all, in regards to noise cancellation, the design itself does a solid job of minimizing outside noise. Once noise the headset is on, it ups a little, however, once I'm actively listening to something, I don't notice anything else. If people walk in your room you might not notice them, so be aware I've been caught off guard a few times. Sound quality itself...I've tested several high end headphones for review, or just ones I've purchased because "audiophiles claim they're the best" these go toe to toe with anything. The clarity combined with the dolby atmos spacial audio, whether I'm playing a single player atmospheric game, or a multi-player shooter, I'm locked in. Then there are other features that really help take this headset to the next-level and seperate it from it's competition. The transmitter dock and the transmitter is a genius idea, especially for a headset like this. When you have multiple headsets, you're going to have a favorite. Having to switch transmitters from console to PC, or whatever your set up is can be annoying. Using bluetooth (which, this headset does support)...nah. Having a transmitter dock and a transmitter allows me to connect the headset to my PS5 and my PC and switch back and forth easily....but that's not all. The transmitter dock simultaneously charing a battery pack means I'm can use this headset without ever having to stop to charge. THIS is a big thing, especially for a headset I find myself using on multiple platforms! All in all, the Turtle Beach Stealth Pro II is my new headset champion, and it may not be close. I'd strongly recommend this to anyone easily. It's not the cheapest set on the market, but you are by far getting what you pay for with these.

So I’ve been using the new Turtle Beach Stealth Pro II Gaming Headset for about a week now and honestly… I’m impressed. I’ve owned quite a few Turtle Beach headsets over the years, so I already had pretty high expectations going into this. Luckily, these definitely lived up to the hype. Inside the box you get: * Turtle Beach Stealth Pro II headset * Detachable mic * Crossplay transmitter dock * 2 rechargeable batteries * USB wireless transmitter * USB-A to USB-C charging cable * Hard shell carrying case * QR code for the user guide The controls are laid out pretty nicely too and don’t feel confusing once you mess with them for a few minutes. Left earcup has: * Mode button (ANC by default, but customizable) * Game volume dial * Mic monitoring dial (also customizable) * USB-C charging port * Power button / Superhuman Hearing button * Mic port Right earcup has: * Crossplay button for switching transmitters * Bluetooth volume dial * Multifunction Bluetooth button * Bluetooth status light Now before even setting these up, the first thing I noticed was how premium they feel. The build quality is solid without feeling heavy or bulky. They’ve got that sleek “high-end gaming gear” look without trying too hard. The magnetic outer plate on the left earcup pops off to access the battery, which is actually pretty slick. Comfort wise, these things are like “I forgot I’ve been wearing them for hours” soft. The ear cushions feel like little pillows around your ears, and the headband is super comfortable too; which is kinda reminiscent of another headset’s headband. Definitely important if you’re someone who disappears into a game for half the day. Setup was pretty straightforward. I charged them up first using the included cable, connected everything through Bluetooth, and downloaded the Swarm II app to update the firmware and mess around with settings. The app is actually useful too, which isn’t always the case with gaming headset apps. Once everything was updated, I loaded into a game to really test them out… and wow. The sound quality is ridiculously immersive. Footsteps, explosions, background effects — everything sounded crisp and detailed. It genuinely felt like I was sitting inside the game instead of just listening to it. The mic quality was solid too. Friends said my voice came through clear with no issues, and I really like that muting the mic is as simple as flipping it upward. Another thing I love is the dual battery setup. One battery stays inside the headset while the other charges on the dock, so you can basically swap them out and keep gaming without worrying much about downtime. Turtle Beach claims around 40 hours per battery, which is honestly pretty wild. But the standout feature for me has to be the Active Noise Cancellation. And I don’t mean “gaming headset ANC” where it barely softens background noise. I mean REAL ANC. Like scary good. It completely shut out pretty much everything around me. Easily some of the best noise cancellation I’ve used on any headset, gaming or otherwise.

These are boxed nicely, and everything just speaks of the build quality and visual appeal. Included in the box with the headphones with a nice zipper case, a wireless USB transmitter, a “Cross Play” transmitter dock, USB wire and a QR code to download the Turtle Beach app. The headband has a soft woven mesh that supports comfortably, and even though the headphones are a little heavy at 393 grams, they do not feel heavy while using. The ear cushions are also a woven fabric, with dual layer memory foam. The ear adjustments are not “click”, rather a “friction lock” for infinite adjustment. The construction is anodized aluminum with chrome accents. The clamping pressure was not excessive. Overall, these are some of the best looking and most comfortable headphones I have used. And, these can be used with glasses comfortably. These are hi-Res Certified 24-bit/96kHz wireless audio via Bluetooth® or USB wireless with support for LC3plus & LDAC. They have advanced active noise cancellation. I did test the noise cancellation, and it is very effective at muting surrounding noises. Another feature is the “CrossPlay 2.0” It lets you switch wirelessly from up to 4 audio sources. Included with the headphones is the USB wireless transmitter, and the “Cross Play” transmitter dock, for two sources. Additional USB wireless transmitters can be added. Also, simultaneous USB Wireless + Bluetooth® for PC, PlayStation® and mobile devices. The dock also houses an additional battery that can be charged as a spare for the headphones. The headphones have a magnetic cover that pops off for quick battery change. This gives as much as 80 hours of use. The drivers are 60mm “ Eclipse™ Dual Drivers”, and the frequency response is rated at a remarkable 10Hz to 40kHz. Dolby “Atmos® Spatial Audio” provides an immersive 3D sound for gaming. Some of the controls are game volume, variable mic volume, Bluetooth volume, an assignable mode, power / superhuman hearing, Crossplay, and Bluetooth MFB buttons. The microphone is uni-directional, detachable and flip-to-mute. Response is 100Hz to 16kHz. I tested these headphones on both gaming and music sources. These have definitely been designed with the focus on gaming. Using while gaming brings a dynamic “punch”. The lows are incredible, and bring the dynamics and effects to life. The app allows using customizing macros for individual games, or create your own. When auditioning with music, the obvious downfall was that the treble is recessed, and not balanced with the lower audio spectrum. These are designed for gaming, and for that, they are remarkable, but what could have a complete home run, falls short. Be advised, I would not recommend for musical audio. With a different tuning, these could be an excellent all around set of headphones...... However, I would still recommend as an excellent choice for gaming. For that reason, I still give 5 stars.

The good: -Looks great and of good quality. Use it for a work session and still be able to take on some hours while gaming. -Very comfortable ear cuff padding. It even functions to blocking out external noise -Included case is neat to stow away in a backpack. -Detachable microphone that also swivels up/down when not in use is a welcome feature. -The ability to switch between 3 different setups (USB Dongle, USB Transmitter Dock, and bluetooth means I can switch on the fly between my mobile, Playstation, and PC. The added perk is that I can simultaneously have my mobile and either dongle or dock audio come in. -The physical buttons on the headset are great to manage device changes, mic or sound levels, volume, active noise cancelling, Noise gate, and your game presets. The meh: -Sync issues are prevalent. Either the sound level is way off when you first connect to PC and use the scroll wheel to manage or manage it the PC settings itself, it just is either too loud or too low than what is already playing through the headset. -Another sync issue I encountered was that even when connected to my PC and Mobile phone for a while, I went to go into Teams and lost all microphone and playback volume. It still shows connected and is available within Windows and Teams settings but nothing I can do on the mobile app or the headset itself works.. besides a full headset shutdown and restart. I Wish: -The dock has more potential to maybe tell battery level for the headset too. They could have possible added more features/buttons to it rather than it just being a battery charger. My recommendation: As long as the future updates can address some of the initial concerns and bugs, I think this is going to be my main daily headset for work and gaming. I just love the way it looks without being too flashy, sound quality is great, and no concern for battery life given it includes an extra 30 hour battery.

After spending a few days with the Turtle Beach Stealth Pro II Wireless Gaming Headset, I can confidently say this is one of the most comfortable gaming headsets I’ve used. The mesh headband not only gives it a sleek, modern look, but it also distributes weight really well. I’ve worn it for long gaming sessions without any pressure or discomfort, which is a huge win. Setup was extremely easy and stress‑free. The companion app makes adjusting settings simple and intuitive. I was able to tweak audio settings directly from my phone while gaming on my PS5, which felt seamless and convenient without interrupting gameplay. Battery life has been excellent so far. One feature I absolutely love is the ability to quickly swap batteries using the charging dock. There’s no need to plug in and wait—just swap the battery and keep gaming. It’s a small detail that makes a big difference during longer sessions. Sound quality is great across the board. Audio is clear, immersive, and well balanced, whether I’m gaming or using it more casually. Everything from subtle background sounds to intense action comes through nicely. Overall, this headset feels premium, well‑designed, and clearly built with gamers in mind. If you’re looking for comfort, ease of use, and solid performance all in one package, this headset delivers.

A massive upgrade that actually delivers TL;DR: The Turtle Beach Stealth Pro II is an absolute powerhouse for gaming with punchy audio, active noise cancellation that actually blocks out a loud house, and a hot-swappable battery system. The mobile app is convenient for tweaking EQ and chat mix via Bluetooth. Just know there's a slight learning curve to the three on-ear volume wheels, and while it sounds fantastic for gaming, it won't replace your dedicated high-end headphones for deep music listening. Comfort & Build It’s built like a tank but doesn’t feel like you’re wearing one. The ear cushions are breathable, so my ears aren't roasting after a long gaming session. Plus, the hot-swappable battery system is a lifesaver—never having to plug in mid-game is a huge win. The Sound (For Gaming/Movies) It genuinely delivers. Whether I'm grinding through a Warlock build in Diablo 4 and need to hear every environmental sound cue, or just kicking back with something more cinematic, the audio is punchy and crisp. The bass hits hard without muddying up the dialogue or the rest of the game audio. Out of the box, the tuning is great, but it's incredibly easy to tweak if you want a custom sound profile. Music & Everyday Listening This is a gaming headset first and foremost. If you’re looking for a daily driver primarily to listen to music, or if you consider yourself an audiophile, this isn't going to replace a dedicated pair of music-first headphones. The sound profile is built to highlight things like game environment cues and footsteps. While music sounds completely fine while you're working at your desk, it lacks that warm, rich detail you get from a high-end pair of cans. You can absolutely fiddle with the EQ in the app to make music sound better, but at the end of the day, it excels at gaming a lot more than it does at music. The Mic & Noise Cancellation This is usually where headsets fall apart, but this one holds its own. My house isn't exactly a quiet studio—between the kids making a racket and my cat deciding it's time to demand attention, there's always background noise. The active noise cancellation actually tunes out the daily chaos so I can focus. More importantly, the mic isolates my voice well enough that nobody on the other end is complaining about the background noise. I do appreciate the Transparency Mode. Sometimes I need to hear what's going on around the house, like if the doorbell rings or someone is yelling for me. You can dial the ANC down and let the ambient sound pass right through the microphones into your ears. It means you aren't completely walled off from reality when you don't want to be. More importantly, whether you have ANC cranked up or turned off, the boom mic isolates your voice well enough that nobody on the other end is complaining about your background noise. The Controls This headset actually has three different scroll wheels baked into the earcups. Between managing your master volume, the game/chat mix, and your active noise cancellation levels, it can get a bit confusing at first. You will probably find yourself accidentally turning down your game instead of turning up your chat for the first few days. But once you build up that muscle memory, having that much physical control right on your head is really convenient. The Software: Swarm II (PC & Mobile) The controls get even better when you dive into the software, because a headset is only as good as the app controlling it. Turtle Beach uses their Swarm II app for the Stealth Pro II, and it's actually pretty intuitive to use on mobile and on PC. On PC, the desktop app is where you can really get into the weeds. It gives you a full 10-band EQ to customize your audio profile exactly how you want it. You can set up specific profiles for different games—like cranking the highs and activating "Superhuman Hearing" when you need to hear footsteps in a shooter, or tweaking the bass for an action-RPG. Honestly, the mobile version of the Swarm II app wins for the convenience factor. Because the headset has simultaneous Bluetooth, you can have the app open on your phone while you're gaming on your PC or console. If you realize mid-boss-fight that your chat mix is off or your EQ needs a tweak, you just use your phone. No need to Alt-Tab out of your game and risk a crash just to adjust a slider. It syncs up seamlessly, and it's a massive quality-of-life feature that I didn't know I needed until I had it. When it comes to firmware updates, the process is pretty painless and you can actually run them straight from the mobile app or your PC. It takes a few minutes since it has to update both the headset and the transmitter hub, but the app walks you right through it and it's been totally stable for me. I’ve had two updates since taking ownership, so I know the engineers at Turtle Beach are actively keeping the Stealth Pro II in top shape. The Charging Dock & Battery Setup The included dock doesn't just connect the headset to your PC or console—it actually serves as the charging station for your spare battery pack. While you are gaming on battery A, battery B is sitting in the dock getting topped off. Each battery lasts about 40 hours anyway, but having the dock right there on your desk means you practically never run out of juice. When your headset dies, you just pull off the magnetic cover on the earcup, swap the battery out with the one in the dock, and you're back up and running in under 10 seconds. It’s worth noting that there is an additional USB-A dongle; I’m guessing it would be used either for travel or if you have both a PC and console and need an additional receiver. Verdict I can't pretend this thing is flawless, so here is the reality check. First, the price tag is steep. At MSRP, it is a serious investment, and you are definitely paying a premium for that hot-swappable battery ecosystem and the metal build. Speaking of that build—because it is made with aluminum and houses massive 60mm drivers, it is noticeably heavy. If you are sensitive to heavy headsets, you might feel the heft on the top of your head after a marathon session. Also, while the magnetic battery cover on the earcup is slick, it can be a little fiddly to snap perfectly back into place when you are fumbling around in the dark mid-game. If you're looking for a heavy-duty, daily-driver headset that gets out of its own way and just lets you game, I recommend this headset.

The Stealth Pro II is a premium, thoughtful, and high quality headset from Turtle Beach. This isn’t just your average headset, this brings great engineering, premium audio, and great usability in a single package that I can easily say outclasses anything I’ve ever used. Most of the time gaming headsets have compromises, but the Stealth Pro II has none that I’ve found. These come in at a premium price, but are worth their premium. To support these bold claims, let me first point you to the physical design. Included in the box you get an insanely premium built headset (more on that later), two batteries, a battery charger that doubles as the main receiver, and a USB receiver that can be connected to another device (Xbox, PS5). Connectivity wise, these are bluetooth also, which rounds out triple connectivity. Also, I cannot forget to mention the premium hard case that protects this if you travel. The headset is large and doesn’t try to be space saving, but it can fold flat and be shoved in a backpack with your gaming laptop. About the construction, I’ve been through some cheaper gaming headsets with metal bands, but lots of cheap plastic that crack and break. While the top headband is coated in a rubberized plastic, the overall construction is a dark grey anodized aluminum which is both light and strong. All surfaces that aren’t buttons are aluminum, and the headset feels quite durable. On the left earcup is a magnetically attached battery cover, which when removed makes it a cinch to change the battery in a matter of seconds. In fact as a test, I swapped the battery out and powered on the headset all without looking. Impressive guys. Topping off the excellent engineering on display, this headset doesn’t shy away from controls. You get not one, but three volume rockers. One controls the headset volume (left earcup, highest rocker), another modifies the microphone monitor volume (left earcup, lowest rocker), and the right earcup adjusts your connected bluetooth device’s volume which is seamlessly mixed with your other audio source. Speaking of inputs, you get the base and USB dongle, but you can pair up to two more and swap between 4 different 2.4GHz wireless sources plus the bluetooth. Turtle Beach spared no expense here when it comes to drivers. You’ll find the 60mm coaxial drivers to be some of the best you’ll find in this price range. The default equalizer is definitely a powerful curve (Turtle Beach Signature Sound) while showing flat in the EQ software. I found tweaking down at the bass and treble could produce a more natural sound, but if you like the powerful EQ you won’t find the out of the box sound boring. The best way to describe the characteristics of these drivers is muscular. I wouldn’t say these are the best I’ve heard, but their character is strong, belting out unstoppable bass, and crisp highs without losing midrange resolution. Soundstage is pretty good for a set of over the ear headphones and I’m overall impressed with how clear and natural these sound when listening to music critically. If you want to push the bass up the bass boost setting will happily blow your ears out with hard hitting bass that I simply could not get to distort. Overall for a gaming headset, these did not leave me wanting in the music front. Great job Turtle Beach! The on board microphones included seem to work well (allowing you to still use this as a headset without the boom mic), but honestly the boom mic is the star of the show. This mic connects via a mini-usb (hello 2004!), but the legacy plug offers enough structural rigidity to support the mics weight without adding a ‘what if I plug this in’ USB-C port. Honestly once the mic is connected, you won’t feel the need to remove it, as it transparently folds up and down muting audio appropriately. The mic is excellent in its pickup, and the built in monitor feature is great for streaming and audio recording alike. The mic is flexible, but you don’t need it in front of your mouth (in fact if you do and flip it up it might get you in the eye). The mic EQ found in the PC software is nice, and again is here for the streaming crowd. I used the mic for several days of meetings and got great feedback from colleagues on the audio quality. That leads into the ambient and active noise cancellation features. The ambient mode is almost freaky in what it can pick up; allowing me to hear conversations going on in my house. ANC did a great job around the house, but I didn’t get a chance to test this on an airplane or other common use case. A moment to speak to battery life. I spent a full week taking meetings from home, and I used barely 45% of the battery. Now this wasn’t 8h of solid meetings, but I’d say I got at least 25h of meetings. Not only was the battery excellent, but the memory foam cushions were comfortable this entire time as well. The headsets weight was apparent, but not burdensome. Clamping force wasn’t uncomfortable, but kept the headset secure. Gaming with these are also excellent, with Dolby Atmos spacial support. While I find this to be a bit gimmicky in most scenarios, if you have a game that supports this, it can add aural effects that simulate virtual positioning as if you had multi-channel output. Most of my games are stereo in their support or have their own strategy (like CS2). Details were clear and the ability to adjust my volume quickly from the headset was great. Overall gaming in these was amazing. Speaking of gaming, the PC software is actually pretty good for the ecosystem. Turtle Beach has expanded to a lot of different devices, and their software has kept up. The Turtle Beach Swarm II software allows management of all their products. For the Stealth Pro II’s you get device options, equalizer, custom assignments for buttons (just the mode and secondary volume rocker), as well as additional settings which open up the possibility of creating hotkeys, showing a system tray battery status icon, and adjusting the charging hub’s LED brightness. Swarm II was low system resource utilization and smooth as butter. Settings took immediately and the defaults were always to on-board device settings, which is how it should be (saving my EQs to the device and not just applying in software). Overall the Stealth Pro II is an expensive premium headset. The build quality is top notch, the materials are top notch, and the thoughtful features of a spare battery, and integrating the charger and receiver warrant the premium. Streaming and in-game focused audio features are solid and the headset pulls off a great presence for online meetings to boot. Connectivity is vast and flexible with simultaneous bluetooth and PC/gaming sources. Are they worth that premium to you? I think the answer to that lies in what you prioritize. If you prioritize audio quality, features, build quality, battery life and flexibility this is the headset. If you want travel friendly, lightweight, and/or flashy LED lights, look elsewhere. Overall I cannot help but recommend this headset.

These sound absolutely great, the ANC is excellent, and the mic is very decent for a wireless headset. However i found the clamp pressure and the weight on the top of my head to be uncomfortable. Your mileage may vary, i do have a large head.

the Sound is incredible the bass is little bit lauder then previous version but you can hear perfectly all steps as a COD player non complains, it feels very premium and for the price compete with the most expensive headset in the market. fully recomended
