Q: Will it erase files if wrong fingerprint is attempted after too many tries?
A: No. Your files will not be erased. Multiple wrong fingerprint attempts simply prevent access, but your data stays completely safe. Just use a registered fingerprint to unlock it again.
Q: Will this work with a locked Samsung phone? Thx
A: The fingerprint SSD does not unlock or bypass any phone security. If your Samsung phone is locked, it must be unlocked first before the SSD can be accessed. Once unlocked, it works normally with Samsung devices that support USB-C storage.
