According to the original liner notes, this selection of 1930s Trinidadian calypso is colorful and exuberant and richly expressive and often hilariously funny. From tales of Ethiopian emperor Haile Selassie to dancer Bojangles Robinson's million dollar feet, these songs offer social commentary through calypso's inimitable raffish rhymes. Album Tracks 1. Reign of the Georges 2. Good Will Flyers 3. The Million Dollar Feet 4. Theodore 5. Send Your Children to the Orphan Home 6. The Gold in Africa 7. Excursion to Grenada 8. If I Won a Sweepstake 9. Rate Rate Ray 10. Sally You Not Ashamed? 11. Oh Lil' Lil' Gal 12. Hell Yard and George Street Conflict 13. Poppy Day 14. Out the Fire
