Vitamix - Ascent X2 Blender - Shadow Black

I so much love this blende… it’s the best i have gotten so far

I've had the Vitamix Ascent X2 for a few months now and I couldn't be happier with it. This thing is built like a tank — you can immediately tell the quality the moment you pick it up. It doesn't feel like an appliance you'll be replacing in a couple of years. The versatility is what really sets it apart. I've used it for smoothies, hot soups, nut butters, and everything in between. It handles all of it effortlessly. I've tried other blenders in the past that struggled with thicker blends, but the X2 powers right through without breaking a sweat. Cleanup is also surprisingly easy — a quick rinse and a drop of soap is all it takes most of the time. Yes, it's a premium price point, but after three months of daily use, it's clear this is the kind of appliance you buy once. Highly recommend picking one up at Best Buy — great in-store experience too.

This blender blends more smoothly than the entry level models I’ve used. I would not consider them in the same level. You would not want to go back once you have this new standard. I have not tried the hot soup settings yet, so I can’t comment on how well they work. Frozen or blended cocktails is also very well done. When making smoothies with frozen fruit, you need to be thoughtful about how you layer the ingredients. You can’t just fill the blender without a plan and expect the best results. The plastic clip at the bottom of the handle broke, so I need to file a product complaint. It does not feel strong or sturdy. The cleaning feature is useful, but it does not replace washing the blender by hand. I think of it as a little helper, not a reason to buy the blender.

Powerful and fast Versatile Easy to clean Well built

I love this blender, I use it five times a week for protein shakes and it easily my favorite blender I’ve ever own. I follow the method for the self cleaning function and haven’t had any problems. It’s still sharp and runs well.
