Bought to backup my failing drive. Ran a chkdsk on it and ran Disk Genius to check it before transfers. Both reported 2300+ bad sectors ,on a new drive fresh out of the box. Returned without even wasting time doing transfers. Dont waste you time or money on this drive. I've been a user of WD drives for 40 years, now I'm not looking at WD drives any longer, obviously quality control has gone downhill.
