Love the Webroot for my computer- could not be without

The service is incredible. It is fast and easy because it is a download. It uses less of your computer's resources which allows it to run longer diagnostics and preserve battery life. It allows me to connect up to 6 devices. My iPhone, iPad, PC, and laptop all get threat protection, always-on security for my identity, protection that stops ransomware, real-time anti-phishing, blocks bad sites, firewall and network connection monitor as well as secures my devices, and it protects my account logins and passwords that I use on my registered devices. I enjoy having my Webroot service because I can control and monitor my scans and diagnostics that I have ran or that I want to run. It also includes a web extension that serves as an advisor and will show an icon if a site is good to use, or if it is not safe to use. This helps protect me from pop-ups as well as viruses that might be installed by clicking on a link.

I switched from Kaspersky for a couple of reasons. not the least of which was that Webroot does not interfere with operating system, whereas Kaspersky frequently did. I like that Webroot watches over us without complicating things. Also...I just didn't trust Kaspersky.

Webroot is least annoying when it comes to upgrade ads (vs AVG antivirus and Norton/McAffee resident virus). It's user-friendly up until your subscription ends. There's no easy way to plug in new activation code to "renew" if you buy it cheap from retailer. You will have to completely uninstall and re-install to put new code in. That's pretty much the only complaint I have on Webroot.

Thank you for the useful feedback!

Webroot works ok. Simple install, small footprint. The only issue I have is that I can't view how many PCs are actually using the key code. (The subscription is for 6 devices, and I was using the product on 6 PCs. One pc died, and was replaced. I need to put Webroot on the replacement PC. How will Webroot know I still only have 6 devices using this subscription?)

I love Webroot. I have used it for several years now and it's great. Easy to load and set-up. One Webroot Software will give you internet security and antivirus protection for up to 6 devices! Imagine not having to purchase protection for each one of your devices!! In addition, they are good about updates. They don't send a bunch of updates; they only send like one or two a year. Check it out and compare. Webroot will be the one to purchase.

Webroot Secure Anywhere is as good as you want. It uncomplicated and does a great job at keeping pesky intruders and interlopers out. I used Webroot at work for years and never had any problems. Since the subscription covers 6 devices, I can share. It will make a lovely gift.

The Webroot Internet Security Plus + Antivirus Protection software was an easy download, and also easy to install. Webroot Internet Security Plus + Antivirus Protection has been keeping my laptop, and desktop computers quite secure. A good purchase !

I'm a repeat customer of this software. I have zero complaints. I allowed my coverage to lapse a few months, but nothing made me feel better than when I renewed my 2 year subscription. Now, I can rest.

Digital download flawless — install a breeze — activation easy — default settings getting the job done — runs every day or manually whichever you want — provides green check marks next to web sites that it considers safe, usually not sites that are marked as adds — adding extension to Chrome was easy — app on Iphone has it’s own browser that operates like Chrome — app doesn’t let you do things in the browser it doesn’t consider safe — unlike anything else I’ve heard about — downloaded from Bestbuy — was on sale for $50.00 2 years 6 devices — works along side my Iobit System Care Suite — support through Geek Squad when you buy from Bestbuy — definitely recommend without hesitation

So I spent HOURS of research and personal dedication to ensure that my next commitment to antiviral software would not be a disappointment like my previous attempts. My time investigating was well spent, to say the least. I will NEVER go back to that garbage software like McAfee or Norton that these PC companies used to bog down your system in, often as a "trial" period. That being said, the next best thing that was frequently mentioned among Webroot in my search for modern online protection was actually Bitdefender. Since that time, I have come to experience Bitdefender quite intimately as it is the software my company uses across every office. In short, it's horrible! I can't believe it was ever considered in the same tier as Webroot. When Bitdefender is running either a "Quick Scan" or a "Full Scan", you will know it! Regardless of the specs in your machine, this stupid program will drain your performance until that scan is complete. Deal with it! That's not to say it may not be good at detecting and removing any potential threats. After all, that is what it what designed for and intended to do. However, with time comes forward thinkers who improve on original ideas and take us in a new direction. This is where Webroot comes in. I thought it was too good to be true that this was a "cloud-based" anti-virus software...one that can achieve the desired effect but WITHOUT affecting PC performance! That's a big claim. I had to try it. And turns out they have lots of assortments to choose from. Physical vs Digital, 1 years vs 2 year, fewer vs multiple devices, etc. So this led me to choose the 6 device, 2 year subscription as I could protect not only my laptop, but other members of my family, as well as cell phones, and have it valid for at least 2 years time, instant download and product key without leaving home, and the Internet Security Plus identifies and blocks dangerous websites and protects account logins and passwords. It just made sense for my situation to go with this suite for this price point. And I am so glad that I did. When Webroot is scanning, I can never tell. It really is just in the background doing it's own thing and NOT affecting PC performance, as advertised. The tray module and website is fairly easy to navigate. I do pair Webroot with Malwarebytes, which is not only a quality software to be a companion to something like Webroot, but also quite affordable. Long live Webroot. You guys know how to do it right.

I have used this for 10 years after problem with other major internet protection. Love this. It scans, removes problems or lets you know if something is not safe. Have had no issues. Best protection out there. Used for business and personal.
