The Lord of the Rings trilogy won seventeen Academy Awards. Weta Workshop was intrinsically involved in the design and physical effects manufacture for all three films. Perfectly sized for easy display and ideal for any desktop or bookshelf, this Fell Beast miniature statue, beautifully sculpted by Bawal Saggi, will make an excellent addition to your Weta Workshop miniatures collection. It takes hundreds of hours to design, sculpt model make, mold, and paint the prototype for each new Middle-earth piece. Whether it be a prop replica, beautiful environment or iconic character, we treat our collectibles with the same level of care and attention to detail that we bring to our film work. A winged thing – not of feather or quill, but naked and leathery. Armed with tooth and claw, its screeching cry, piercing and unnatural, invokes a primal fear in all who hear its call. A foul steed, it serves its rider to scour the skies and plague the lands. Perching upon the ruins of Osgiliath, forsaken capital of Gondor, the Fell Beast aides its Nazgûl rider in tracking down the Ringbearer. Its imposing figure poised to launch in pursuit. Saddled atop this abhorrent mount, the Witch-king surveys the ruins – searching, seeking, always seeking, the call of the Ring. To celebrate upcoming 20th anniversary of The Lord of The Rings, the team at Weta Workshop have created a special line of polystone statues featuring Middle-earth’s major characters in their signature pose and clothing. The Classic Series is Open Edition and has been tailor made to fit beautifully on your shelf. In the heart of the ancient city of Minas Tirith stood a small unit of guards, resolute and vigilant, like a steadfast pillar of Gondorian valour.
