It uses air power rather than heat, so it’s safe for vehicle surfaces. It can blow light, powdery snow off a vehicle fairly easily because it produces strong airflow (up to 450 CFM and 120 MPH). However, it is not very effective on wet or heavy snow since that tends to stick to surfaces, and the blower’s air pressure won’t dislodge it well. It also won’t work on ice or packed snow. If you plan to use it for snow, make sure the battery is fully charged because cold weather can reduce battery performance, and clear snow promptly before it compacts or freezes.
