WWE 2K18 for Switch is a disappointing port of a game that had potential to be a great wrestling experience on a Nintendo console. The game suffers from severe performance issues, graphical downgrades, and numerous bugs that ruin the enjoyment of the gameplay. The game boasts a huge roster of wrestlers, both current and classic, and a variety of modes to play, such as MyCareer, Universe, and Road to Glory. However, these modes are either bland, repetitive, or frustrating to play, especially on the Switch. The MyCareer mode is a tedious grind that forces you to sit through long loading screens and boring cutscenes, while the Universe mode is a sandbox that lacks any meaningful progression or customization. The Road to Glory mode is an online mode that pits you against other players, but the online functionality is so poor that it's hard to find a match or have a smooth connection. The gameplay itself is decent, with some improvements to the controls, animations, and physics. The matches can be fun and realistic, with a variety of moves, weapons, and match types to choose from. However, the gameplay is severely hampered by the technical issues that plague the Switch version. The frame rate drops drastically whenever there are more than two wrestlers on the screen, making the action slow and choppy. The entrances are also affected, with the wrestlers moving in slow motion while their music plays normally. The audio is also glitchy, with crackling noises and abrupt commentary. The game is also full of bugs, such as wrestlers getting stuck in the environment, clipping through objects, or behaving erratically. The graphics are also a major downgrade from the other versions, with low-resolution textures, jagged edges, and missing effects. The character models are inconsistent, with some looking decent and others looking like they belong to a previous generation. The crowd is also lifeless, with low-poly models and repetitive animations. The game looks acceptable in handheld mode, but it looks terrible on the big screen. WWE 2K18 for Switch is a game that should have been delayed or cancelled, as it is clearly not ready for release. It is a shame, because the game could have been a great addition to the Switch library, offering a portable wrestling experience with a lot of content and features. However, the game is a mess, with poor performance, graphics, and stability. It is hard to recommend this game to anyone, even the most hardcore wrestling fans. WWE 2K18 for Switch is a botched debut that deserves to be booed out of the arena.

Good game to have as a portable, but it does show it’s glitches with entrances, stage music and various player controlled action. Needs works but still nice to have on the go.

When I'm playing the game and it's not taking centuries to load, and it is not acting wonky and choppy...It's great. other than that, it tests my patience.

Game is very laggy like it’s running 12fps. I feel like this is a half baked game.

Port is hard to translate to Switch. But it was a good effort. Decent gameplay

Game is slow to load on the Nintendo Switch. Advise getting it on another system if possible.

Has a few bugs that need to be fixed. There’s a large roster which is exciting.

The game is a lot of fun but the controls are super complex and the game takes forever...and I mean forever...to load.

This game is pretty fun and me and my son enjoy playing iT but sometimes in battle royal when There’s a lot of action going on the game moves very slow, also when you have elimination matches and you throw someone out of The ring they seem to float around and glitch there for a few minutes till they disappear. I guess this is a 4 Star game but the sometime glitches make it a 3

I love wrestling games but this one seems to lack something. Maybe it's the switch but don't think u should have to download as much space just to play.

I'm a huge WWE 2k fan. I have this game on PS4 but wanted the switch version for when I travel. It's currently unplayable due to the horrible frame rates. I believe it will get fixed with a patch. Until then hold off if you can.
