First when i got it it was easy it set up but when i wanted it would not stick we spent bout 3 hours searching and changing settings and it out and it worked . And it does not produce a lot of noise! It is worth for it's price! But the first thing I printed was a fist but in mid way it fell off but still a good printer!

This printer is by far the one I use the most out of the 3 I have. Mainly because I print a lot of smaller things and the software that comes with it for editing my pieces and setting them up for print is in-depth and very user friendly. If you are a beginner this is the printer you want. This was the first printer I bought and used and I learned everything I needed to about the ins and outs of 3D printing before diving in to the other more complicated printers.

This is my first personal 3D printer and I haven’t stopped using it!! The manufacturer recommends applying a tad bit of school glue stick to the print bed, I use hairspray instead (read it on another website) and it works much better, in my opinion. I just use a piece of paper to cover up the fan, extruded, and other moving parts. I have already ordered $300+ worth of material and supplies from XYZ’z website. I like their printing software, mobile compatibility, print time, noise level, and so on. I did find one minor flaw with the printer’s mobile printing capabilities. I found that on iOS the XYZprint HUB does not work to print, for me, instead I use the XYZgallery app. Also, the XYZgallery (online and in the application) is useless, it essentially doesn’t work. Use Thingiverse, they have just about anything you can think of!

Great for the beginner and intro to 3D printing. Easy setup and very fast compared to other printers. When buying a 3D printer is important to do your homework and buy one that suits your needs. The price of this one is very good and good quality prints. The thing you want to think about first is how much the PLA is from XYZ since you have to use their spools, but for the quality and price of this machine it is definitely worth it and love the decision I made when buying this 3D printer.

Came fully assembled, easy to hook up, running it with WiFi , within 20 minutes ( mostly software updates) my 13 yo son was printing models. Great value, looks and feels like a solid instrument. Perfect for beginner learning 3D modeling.

A little long to set up and download all the software. Directions were not to clear but nothing you can't google. Got this for my 12 year old and after the first try he was able to run it by himself. Overall great value for what it is.

For the price it has pretty good print quality. Granted, I'm a newbie to the 3D printing scene so I might be easy to impress. Got a couple of pretty decent prints after the first dud didn't stick to the bed. If your room is cool you'll want to liberally apply glue stick to the bed to make sure the bottom of what you are printing sticks. There was some trial and error figuring things out as the manual is pretty skimpy. Plus the one included in the box had screen shots that were from older XYZ software and did not match at all with the current version. I did find a more current manual online and was able to download it. My disappointment wasn't with the print output but rather the fact that I could not get the WiFi to connect. I exchanged a bunch of information with XYZ support and sat through a couple of remote troubleshooting sessions with them when the finally gave up and concluded the problem might be a faulty wireless module in the printer. So, I ended up returning the unit and purchasing a different model.

First of all, don't expect the models you download to print to look as smooth and professional as they post the finished model pictures. This is your basic printer. The filament that came with mine is clear I stead of the pictures red. And the filinent that comes with it is cheap. When I don't use the spool for a day, at some point the filinent will snap below the feeder. I guess this a temperature issue. Get some better quality filinent and you should be ok. The printing bad isn't heated. I didn't think it was a big deal till a checked on my print half way through to find a blob of clear filinent in gobs following my nozzle around and falling off the side of the print base where it did not adhere to the print base. Yes I used the includes base tape and used the sticky adhesive and it was still a failure to launch on some projects. Like I said, don't have xpect much from this printer. Especially nothing like the nice resin printers that can make museum quality prints because it is not happening. This is more like build a part of a figure, sand I down and paint it and out it together. I would have saved up for a better printer but we all live and learn. For a kid it's good, but for those of you serious about this printing hobby, nope. Don't go here.

Some reason I have to buy certain filament to make things and not just random ones. Other than that it’s pretty good and easy to use. Sometimes the software is slow.

I have been using this printer a few days now and think it is a good entry level printer to see if you like the hobby. My only complaint would be that you have to use their branded filament with a chip or buy a chip that works with other filaments. I wish the printer was a little bigger but for the price I cant complain. I would recommend this to people that aren't confident in building one, but for those who are I would recommend the ender 3 over this as it has more print space and community support for about the same price.

Directions terrible printer nice for money. Software not sure on that yet I had a bunch of issues where it was locking up and had to use task manager to shut it. Wireless works only at 20 MHz might be a dealbreaker for some. I had to use glue on bed 2nd print was good first one came loose what a mess. I would buy this printer again I bought it for price mainly and reviews from others. I am still learning but can see a use for this as I go along. I will have to see about software that seemed to be a middle road thing in reviews. This is a good purchase for a student wanting to learn 3D printing and software.

Good starter 3D printer for my teenager. He'd already used 3D printers at school, so he was familiar with the concept and technology, which meant he was able to use this one out of the box almost immediately. The output is definitely very basic, but again, for starters, it's a good place to begin.

Worked great, easy to assemlble. However, after purchasing the item i came to find that you must use xyz filament in this printer. Which must be ordered from the company and is extremely expensive. The filament roll has a nsf chip in it and to use third party filament you need to order a filament roll from them that is 49.99 a piece for 200 yards. As you may guess this gets quite expensive. I returned the item ans purchased an ender 3 from creality at an online retailer because bestbuy doesn't carry the brand. All parts and filament for xyz must be ordered from south korea and it is 24.99 just to ship.
