This screen protector has protected my screen pretty well. No scratches at all. A couple of times now I have dropped my phone in a way that should have cracked straight through the screen, but the screen protector took the damage instead - I needed to replace it, of course, but the relatively low cost of this item, plus the included application kit, makes replacing a broken screen protector a much better option than replacing a broken phone screen. If and when your screen protector does break, immediately put clear tape over the impact point to prevent glass splinters escaping and getting embedded in your skin. Put the tape on and it's safe until you can peel off the broken one and replace it. This is an inherent issue with tempered glass, though, there's no use complaining about it. I would happily recommend this brand.
