Case protects well but is heavy. The hing is starting to be someone loose too so will probably have to warranty that.

Yes it’s the most protective item for your kids iPad, but… it always breaks. I have a son that is 5 years apart from the other son. They both needed something like this when they got to the year in school where they used iPads. Each of theirs broke. My most recent purchase, his broke in a month. By broke I mean the plastic is so tough that it doesn’t bend well at the hinges. What you have to decide is, do you want the protection? Or do you want a keyboard that stays attached to the iPad. We were going to exchange it but there’s no other product that is as rugged and will protect an iPad in a 12 yr olds backpack. So we chose to keep it because of the protection that it offers. If you need the protection there’s nothing else out there that will protect your product. If you’re an adult, I would choose something else.

I bought two Zagg keyboards. I sent this one back because the opening and closing was exceptionally firm and I felt it would damage the iPad. I kept the Zagg ProKeys and it has been great.

Purchased for my ipad air 5th generation to protect against falls. The upper left corner of the keyboard did not come down enough to cover the front edge of the ipad. The hinge kept locking up. When I finally managed to close it the top portion that holds the ipad disengaged from the keyboard. Needless to say, I had to return it. It appeared to have been previously purchased and returned. Very disappointed!! I went through several Zagg rugged wireless keyboards for my Ipad air 2 until I found one that actually works and didnt lock ip or fall apart

I ordered a NEW Zagg Rugged Book. I received an open box. The book wasn't in a plastic wrapper as it normally is. It was also missing the foam protector inside. It had finger prints all over it. I was going to return it but was going to have to wait too long for another one. I just won't shop at Best Buy anymore.

Very nice case, but the keyboard doesn’t always connect. Could be the fact that my 9 year old isn’t nice to his equipment and kills the iPad battery all the time

I am loving this keyboard case for my iPad Air 4th generation! It is a bit heavy but not a deal breaker. I like the apple pencil holder on the top. One feature I really wanted and this case has is the ability is to take the iPad case out of the keyboard case so it is separate. I would buy this again even though it is a bit pricey.

This rugged case is exactly what it claims; for me, though it is too heavy so I'll purchase something else.

I absolutely love the ZAGG Rugged Book Wireless Keyboard & Detachable Case for Apple iPad!!! The screen can be set at any angel. The backlit keyboards are so easy to use. The case is very protective of the iPad. There is no better case for the iPad Pro!

The keys are farther spaced out than I am used to (previously used folio keyboard case, but dog ran across keyboard and broke keys) but I’ve adjusted for the most part. It’s exceptionally durable and has given me peace of mind when I’m doing schoolwork and the dogs get rowdy nearby. Very heavy duty and has held up really nicely.

Fits snug, protects well, keyboard has a very good feel. A great choice to protect the iPad and provide a good keyboard as well.

This case is very good in build quality, but almost to a fault. The hinge of the case is very stiff when you first use it. It will break in over time and become much more manageable. However, I would rather have the hinge be more stiff out of the box because you know it will not get loose over the next years of usage. If the hinge is a little too stiff for your liking, WD-40 can also help make it just right.

If you’re going to buy Zagg buy it from Best Buy! It’s the same quality but darn near half the price as Zagg with better service and better warranty! Also Sonjay is the GOAT! I’ve been buying products from him at Best Buy for probably +10yrs! He has always had the best customer service super knowledgeable very friendly and honors the name of BEST BUY!

Love everything about it , use it work for truck use, in and out if truck, invoices, reports, signatures. Bounces around the truck a lot, but no worries with this case, sturdy metal back bone, detacheable, light weight withou keyboard spine. Back lit keyboard, everything i coulda aske for. For people who work in the field

I use my iPad daily. This provides excellent protection, however the spine has started cracking after 11 months. It has never been dropped or treated roughly. My prior Zagg keyboard lasted 8 years with no issues, so I’m a bit disappointed.

Absolutely love this keyboard. However, I’ve had since December 15 2022, it is now May 8 2023 and it will no longer close. The hinges have gotten so hard the iPad just comes out of the holder.
