I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!!
Kristen Stewart is amazing as Joan Jett!! Dakota Fanning is great Cherie. Great cast, Michael Shannon is excellent, he nailed Tom Fowley! I could watch this movie over and over. I love movies based on true stories. * Google info * if you want to know just how creepy Tom Fowley was & more about what the girls went through.

GREAT MOVIE WITH GREAT MUSIC
THE MOVIE WAS FANTASTIC BUT FOLLOW THE RATING, NOT SUITABLE FOR ALL AUDIENCES. I BOUGHT IT FOR THE MOVIE BUT THE MUSIC WAS GOOD ENOUGH THAT I BOUGHT THE CD AFTER I WATCHED THE MOVIE. WELL WORTH THE MONEY.

great movie of one of 70's punk bands
Over all this movie gives you an insight of what it might have been like for 2 of the members of the Runaways. Its not all rainbows and butterflies, it shows some of the down falls of being in a band back then at a young age.

Kristen Stewart is mesmerizing.
The performances in The Runaways are great but no one is better than Kristen Stewart. Simply incredible.
