While it accommodates "Wide screen" the picture does not fill the screen but rather shows as a strip projection.

Great feel good movie. I am glad I bought the movie.

The American president starring Michael Douglas and Annette Benning. They have great chemistry on film together Michael Douglas plays the president who happens to be a widower with a twelve-year-old daughter. He gets to meet Annette bening who is employed to get the president to change his mind about fossil fuel. They grow to like each other and I start a relationship. Which in this day and age make the American public think the president's not doing his job. does a great supporting cast and I says well Martin Sheen, Michael j.fox, these to play an important role along with everybody else in this movie. if anybody wants to see a good film American president is that that's well worth the watch.

We really like this movie !! Nice story with a great cast !!

The film is a rom-com between a lobbyist and the US president. The romantic thread follows generally the familiar rom-com arc, but in the context of a presidential administration pursuing policy initiatives independently, and at times at odds with the lobbyists interest. The more engaging aspect are the ancillary scenes where we see policy making amidst a blossoming romance and the president. Michael J. Fox, Martin Sheen, and Michael Douglas are in their prime, and superb in these roles. It's easy to see how The West Wing is it's proud offspring.
